How to Attack this Base?

Hi Everyone,

We are in a heated battle with a 50+ win clan from China, and I need to put my best foot forward against this base. I hope some of you can offer a few pointers on how I should attack.

I'm a TH9 (220 troops, 30 CC troops, and four spells), and am proficient with GoWi variants and hogs. Unfortunately, my balloons and giants are not maxed, but everything else is well upgraded.

The first person in my clan to attack was a TH8, and his GoWiPe failed because his troops just started circling the base. I hope to avoid having the same thing happen to me!

Suggestions? I was thinking I would GoWi from the right side somewhere, so that the enemy CC troops will draw my troops towards the center...

Our TH8 guy destroyed 84% of the base (all the outer buildings) with GoWiPe, but only briefly entered the core; he started from around 1:00/2:00.

I wonder how well dragons would work on this base...

Base has four L6 air defenses, and one of two xbows is set to ground/air, so I don't see dragons working very well (unless paired with other troops that will provide cover and/or take out some of the air defenses).

It looked like the xbows were both only ground.

But considering how far in the ADs are, a dragon or 2 might be useful to clear out an area so the GoWi would go toward the core.

Eat the base like your snack

I like

2 golems 5-6 witches rest wizards with around 8 wbs.

I'd go in with a golem in each pocket on same side of base prolly 10 & 11 oclock with wizards and witches behind. Jump spell to get troops from both pockets into core.

Rage on core and 2 heals for other places as needed.

You would drop the golems at 10:00 / 11:00 so that they go for the archer tower and wizard tower there? I don't know how to prevent them from just immediately starting to circle the base once those defenses go down...

I have L3 PEKKA, but only L1 witch, though I can get two L2 witches from teammates...

Easy Gowipe attack, bring 8-12 wall breakers and easily chew through the two layers of walls. Pekkas easily gets funneled towards the TH if you use wizards to take out the buildings in the adjacent compartments.
