Roaming Builder (Nomad)

Holy cow, a thread about builders! "Banned, you terrible person!" "Check the stickies before you post, you awful moron." "I have a burning desire to take out my aggression by acting smug on the internet where I can't get punched in the head!" Since we got that out of the way first, on to a suggestion:

Every once in a while, a handy nomad shows up at your village asking if you have any work he can help with and, since he isn't one of your village's builders, he comes at a price. Since having another builder is likely to be considered SOOOOOOOOO OP !!!OMG!!! :O the stranger asks for a certain amount of gems to be in your employ for a single build. After that build is completed the stranger is on his way into the forest. The game will prompt the user upon opening the game the a handy nomad is asking around for work in the TH, and the user can accept of decline his offer. The build/upgrade cost doesn't change. Could be something neat that comes in handy every once in a while when all your builders are tied up, but I know the timing of it will be pretty convoluted. If it all works out, it will really be nice when all your builders are involved in an upgrade/build and this guy shows up, though. Maybe he could come around once every few months so it isn't just an expected norm. Facetious thanks for all the pointless, unexplained feedback in advance. Actual thanks for real feedback, regardless of your stance.

300 gems per use. Minimum. Prices increase based on how many builders you have and what TH level you are.

The irony. Clearly you seem to think it's ok to join a social group and then violate the rules of that group. Is this normally how you behave? In real life, and not on the Internet, you would be asked to leave if you did this. I do wish that SC would simply ban folks from the forums who post ruled out ideas, but they don't.

If you don't want to be called a moron, the simple solution to that is to not act like one.

As for your idea. It's not ruled out, so you shouldn't get too many replies saying it is. However, I'm not too keen on it either. I just don't really see it as necessary. I certainly wouldn't hate if they implemented it, but consider that everything they do implement comes at the expense of something else they don't implement. Basically if the game needed no other improvements, I guess I'd be pretty neutral on it. However, since the game could use a number of improvements, I'm not.

Hmmm a helper that comes around and helps you out for gems... Sounds like hayday to me! :rolleyes:

Also I think you may need to take a break from the forums if youre gonna start a post with so much aggression from the start...

Sadly, there is no simple solution if one doesn't wish to be called names and berated on this forum because people like you and all your impossibly negative cohorts are constantly trolling the forum looking to be the first person to partially read (and likely misunderstand) a suggestion and then attempt to bash the user to pieces (while flailing miserably with grammar that is painfully obviously out of your depth). I've made it a point that I am sick of you and those like you being so unnecessarily rude and smug on this forum and that hasn't dissipated and likely never will. I know my idea isn't ruled out, but I am sick of reading comments posted by your type who see the word 'builder' in the title and automatically start thinking up some witty, rude way to make yourself feel superior in a comment before even actually reading the thread. This is an internet forum about a video game. People posting repetitive threads or ideas that have been ruled out, while annoying, is comparatively a very minor problem in world, and doesn't warrant the seething hatred that seems to ooze out of you when it happens.

The second paragraph is the kind of stuff that needs to be posted on internet. Level-headed remarks, whether one disagrees, agrees, or is neutral. You don't think it is a necessary addition and you cited reasonable-sounding rationale. It isn't that hard, although it does keep you from filling your smug/negativity quota on easy targets like forums, likely causing you to revert back to driving around in your fake ice cream truck so you can suck the souls from unsuspecting children.

I've never played Hay Day, but if that is a feature of that game, then it may need to stay that way so that the games don't bleed together too much.

I'd leave it up to SC to decide how much this cost, however your suggestion is likely up the in the clouds where theirs would be anyway. I like the idea of the price being reflective of how many builders a player has, also.
