Using lightning spell on cc worth it?

I've been using lightning spell on the cc troops. It works but I'm starting to think twice about it. Is it worth it or should i just lure it with the bk?

It all depends on the situation. Lightning is faster, but less reliable. It also doesn't kill every troop. Luring uses extra troops, which can cause problems later. It also depends on the army comp you're using. For example, I use GiWiPe for wars, and I use the CC to draw the pekkas and wizards into the core.

That's what I use mine for almost exclusively. Obviously it depends of what comes out, but I will fry the archers that come out of there.
Killing the archers, barbs, minions and low lvl wizzes will make it a heck of a lot easier for your farming troops to do their work.

It largely depends on your build though. BARCH probably doesnt care too much, but balloonions will crumble to wizzes or even masses of archers.

If you're gonna use Lighting on CC troops, then you better hit some mortars along with it. Two birds with one stone so they say.

If cc troops are archers, lightning is worth it because it will take out a group of archers.

Pushing: Worth it
Farming: Depends on army. With BARCH, it doesn't matter even if you're storage raiding. But with Loonion, lure.

Personally the time taken to create lightning spells is so high its better off used in a dragon raid or a DE zap.
