Here's what I do when I'm playing on my phone. Every time I hit next I wipe the oil that is on the screen from my fingers, away a little. I'll just do one line across the screen with my fingers in different directions and patterns. Next enough times you can get a nice little oil pattern that distracts you while you're working on it.
Mini-shorts of troops, e.g. a mini-video of Giants.
I actually stopped farming because of it...my Vilage is good enough to just leave it like that forever and just do CW, now I only farm passively (collecting from mines only).
I never bothered too much about nexting and always found good loot in a reasonable amount of time.
But once I hit TH10 it became too much.....and yes I tried every range from silver to Masters...in the end I just gave up farming altogether.
Only playing clanwars gives me a lot of time to do more entertaining things with my life, which is the good thing about this.:D
I hook up the usb cable on my computer to charge and browse the web or watch videos while nexting :)
I assume they wouldn't do this, but I think it would be nice when you go to find a match, you are presented with several potential opponents, and you can choose which one you want to attack. Every time you click next you are presented with several new options. Maybe the next button could be more expensive for this? Anyway I doubt it will happen just sounds nice to me.
I played with my dog and let it hit the next button with nose.
Grind my teeth, pull my hair, scream obscenities, throw things, stuff like that...
I count 1-25 then if still no good base go back at my base n do same thing over n over
I think i am doing a live YouTube video of my raids for my 1M+ loyal fans. I talk to myself about strategies i am going to use.

OMG thats too funny!!! I thought I was the only one!!!!! I used to also make my screen oily and then start attacking and nexting, and when the clouds come up I would wipe away the oil marks(Im OCD and it really pisses me off for some reason i like keeping the screen clean haha) and sometimes i accidentally drop troops so i just attackw hatever base it is.Its kinda like a challenge to myself.Quote:

I happen to be an expert on this subject and here's my advice to all you people getting frustrated over nexting for I used to be like you, worrying about the profit and time but no more! I'm a changed man!
Here's my patented step-by-step guide on how to deal with nexting.
1. Open CoC (Clash of Clans)
2. Train your army if it's not finished already
3. Press 'Attack' and 'Find a match'
4. Pray for loot
5a. You find loot. You're dreaming.
5a.2. Wake up, hope that you didn't attack anyone by accident. Return to step 2.
5b. You don't find loot. Press 'next' five times and no more
6a. You find loot.
6a.2. Go to step 5.
6b. You don't find loot
7. Close CoC (Clash of Clans)
8. Place a toothpick between your left-hand side Hallux and Corpux Unguis (or Margo Liber to be more precise) so that the tip of the toothpick rests lightly on your Hyponychium
9. Open CoC (Clash of Clans)
10. Repeat steps 2-4
11a. You find loot. Repeat steps 5a-5a.2 and carry on to step 12
11b. You don't find loot
12. Notice how the wildly uncomfortable placement of the toothpick makes the lack of loot seem mundane
13. Repeat steps 10-12 until either you or CoC (Clash of Clans) gives up
Optional extra step if steps 1-13 weren't helpful.
14. Make sure you have completed step 8. carefully
15. Kick a wall with your left foot
16. Proceed from step 9.
17. Seek swift medical attention after step 13.
