Is BARCH'ing even effective at high leagues?

I just lost -23 trophies from BARCH'ing an inactive village. I was only able to get 43%. Instead of BARCH'ing, should I just use all archers?

barching is the strategy that relies the most on picking the right base to attack. All archers is similar, there are several videos on Youtube that explain pushing with barch in detail. Phamily Shucks' video is my personal favorite if you are interested.

edit: Barching also is very reliant on your heroes to pick off the 50%, you will often not get the 50% with your barchers only.

I can easily barch to win in Crystal leagues, have tried in Master and its doable but certainly not as easy.

I've been in clans before with players winning in Champion with just barch.

Picking the right bases with a lot of exposed buildings, avoiding x-bows, giant bombs & mortars critical.

I barched to champ with th outside. Base selection is key.(as well as not logging off, skipping work, doing nothing else but clash)

Probably the most cost/time effective army for pushing if you have the patience to get good with it. To me, losing a match with barch is far less painful than losing a match with Gowiwi or gowipe. Sure its losing trophies, but its only losing 60k elixir and 0 DE. The win bonus in Master3 and above pays for your army (minus spells) so anything else you make is money in the bank.

From my experience, barching above crystal 1 you just need to become much more surgical and precise. No more spamming troops where pumps are and praying to Mary for a miracle.

A lot of people use Barch, some have even got Top200 with it.

I am barching at master 2 if that fits your definition of high league

I don't remember but I do know there was at least one in InTheDark, Phamily Shucks and Poisonous Fog got Champ. And the first person to use Barch, Cosmii, got Top200.
