THIS WOULD BE THE END OF DE ZAPPERS! - The Lightning Conductor!

Hey guys,
I am a th8 upgrading to th9, and you know how it hurts if you open your clash and see that your DE got zapped. But after I got zapped for the 3rd or 4th time in this week (I have around 25k DE atm and I'm saving it for my queen - I'm currently at 350 cups) I thought of bringing a new defensive building to the game: the Lightning Conductor.
You would get it with th7 and it's a small building, which is settable on any other building. This building, which is protected by the Lightning Conductor, is resistant against lightning spells. I think it should have only 1 level, and it should cost something around 2 million gold.
I want this defense in the game, because it would make the defense much better, and DE farmers would be more happy. :)
So, that was my suggestion, I would really appreciate feedback and more ideas, because I think, it should care all of you.

Zapping is good for the game and borders on necessary for the economy. While I am for a form of defense to counter spells in general, I am against anything that is targeted especially at zapping.

Hmmm, but some players like me really need something like a lightning conductor, because you can't do anything against DE zapping, and as a th8 it's difficult to farm DE from th9/th10s with maxed out defences. I'm lucky if I see someone with full level 6 drills, but it's rare, that someone puts a level 6 drill outside. :eek:

Other trap ideas: Moat, lightning rod, tar pits, pitfall, hole trap, poison shrubs, wildfire, rock wall, Decorations (dogs/animals) that attack enemies, ability to add poison ivy to walls, sticky trap, vine trap, stun, taser, vortex, freeze/permafrost, tremor/earthquake

It's simpler to make DE storages resistant to lightning spell damage but overall, zap people back and you'll easily get back what you lost. Or you can just use some rage spells and break into some people's DE storages to get the full amount. Getting DE isn't hard

The problem is not the zappers, the problem is the amount of dark elix in your storage and your trophy level.

What do I mean by that? I'll explain.

You're currently in a trophy level where there aren't that many bases with your amount of dark elixir. So the solution is easy, move to a trophy level where there are more bases with lots of dark. I've been farming in Gold 1 and Crystal 3 since mid-TH7 and I have MAYBE been zapped 3-4 times.

If you continue to farm amongst the bottom feeders, then you'll be treated like a bottom feeder. ;)

I dont think this should be added because for a th7 who wants there b king but dosent have any dark drills, the easiest way to get de quick is to lightning spell someone.

When I was saving up for aq level5 (for some reason only 30k which is cheaper than first getting aq) I kept getting lightning spelled but I managed in the end.

They could make DE storages not effected by lightning spells

Supercell don't do it!!!!!If supercell does do this idea, at least give th7 a de drill.

And how do you think TH7's will get their DE? It's hard for us to stay at high trophy levels, easy for other town halls to flatten us, and we have no drill. I just got my Burger King, and there were two ways I was able to get DE - zapping storages, and raiding collectors. Obviously it will be easier if you make all dragons and rage spells, but that's not exactly good on your elixir, and I need to farm gold and elixir too, not just DE.

You know what is a way better idea that got buried in these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ threads? Changing the exponential DE loss formula when the storage is zapped

Deal with it and revenge the ppl who zap! I got my barb king by zapping and got revenged alot. Zapping is the easiest way to get DE at th lvl 7.

I maxed my king to level 5 with th7, it wasn't that hard... I farmed in crystal 3 and I have only attacked full drills, and sniped some town halls for loot bonus. :p

How is th7 supposed to farm in CRYSTAL 3

how did you get to crystal three the highest ive ever been is gold 3 and it was impossible!!!!

People are spending at least 90000.l elixer just to get about 500 de, its not a big problem
