I totally agree. I'm a TH8 and I just got my barb king today after 3 months of getting raided and just using my de drills.
There is no point for people at TH7 to lightning a de storage because they will have their de taken away SO Quickly.
Lightning spells should be made so that resource buildings have a 5x resistance to lightning spells. That way people can still lose de, but not nearly as much from lightning spells.

well the thing is its another way to play this game. you play yours, i play mine. there is no right or wrong about the style you play it' s a war game for god sake..if you are suggesting me quitting COC..just put your collectors at the edge and you quit..hahaha

Except your way to play requires no skill whatsoever. Which makes it wrong. Lazy. And stupid. If you can't raid de the honest way, you're just pressing buttons not playing a game at all. Go play rock scissors paper if you're unable to develop a strategy for anything more complex.

if you insist sir, i respect your opinion..but i will not stop zapping if there is a chance..just saying..i maxed my de upgrade at th8 by raiding and zapping hahaha

No, of course you have every right to play the game and as you see fit. We are just telling you that that type of gameplay cheapens the experience for everyone and makes you look like a chump.

Scenario:
You zap my storage 4x for 1k de, spending 96k elix on bolts.

Let's say that when I raided that de legitimately with 81k worth of troops x2 raids it cost 162k elix

In sum, you have ♥♥♥♥♥ed me out of 162k elix and 1k dark elix for almost half the cost...wait for it...by tapping your finger on the screen four times. It's not so much you and zappers like you that are the problem, though it's unfortunate you all choose to cheapen the game by using and even endorsing the practice, but SC for not taking measures to address the problem.

Never zapped a storage and proud of it.

Imagine those of us before the nerfed zapping the DE.... TWICE. It sucks, but it used to be alot worse.

I have zapped though but as a form of revenge when i was lower lvl. Not justifying it just makes me feel better about me and that's what's important.
