Total "n00b" question here, but I read on one of ZachUVA's posts about farming in the 3000 range and looking for "crab bases", and at first I thought he meant "cr@p" bases, but a quick google search brought up plenty of "crab base designs", but none of the links were of any help. Is it a base shaped like a crab? lol

Just a wild guess but I think it's a base that resembles a crab.

That does indeed resemble a crab, and looks very similar to the results from a quick google search. It also looks a bit like the bases in ZachUVA's post. So possibly?Quote:

I guess the next question has to be why look for crab bases? Cråp bases are easy to find as they are everywhere.

Southern Teasers look like crabs, so therefor are called "crab bases" sometimes.
Isn't it a southern teaser? Or... I don't know. I really need to keep up to date with all these CoC terms and slang (says the guy who made the CoC Dictionary :rolleyes:)
Do you have a link to the Coc Dictionary? ;) And , so a southern teaser (aka. crab base) would be vulnerable to air raids, but worse on ground based raids (e.g. GoWiWi, GoWiPe)? Or is it because the resources are usually more exposed, being that southern teasers (the ones I've seen anyways) are purely trophy bases?Quote:

If you don't wash your base often it gets crabs, and so they are called crab bases. Easy to penetrate but I'd stay away from them.

A crab base is a base that uses Supersteve's base design or one of his past base designs.
