Giants 2x Power on Defenses

Giants Do Double Damage on Defenses! (GD to the 4th)

Giants preferred target are defenses. Giants seem to be the best meat shields to take down defenses all though their power is low and doesn't increase to any defense unit, much less any unit.

Giants power is very low relative to their health which is really high. I think Giants should do double damage, or at least a little more increase in power to defenses than other units.

Ummm... Giants are MADE to have high health, and are supposed to attack in groups. Supercell doesnt need to boost them. Use a rage spell if you want

Truth indeed but I really think since Giants are made for defenses, they should have double damage. Just my theory.

This would make giants OP. SC didn't make giants have low dps because they are stupid. This was very deliberate. Otherwise you could just create armies of giants and steam roll bases.

They aren't made for defenses. They target defenses to act as a shield so you can deploy other higher dps lower hp troops to do the actual destroying. For example, distracting defenses with giants and taking out storages or collectors with goblins is a common tactic.

Yes, yes but you too are wrong. They aren't made for that. That is just a common strategy. Their favorite target is defenses, so they are made for defenses. Supercell or Clash of Clans never stated that "act like a shield."

In any case, I agree that they would be OP, but they target defenses so I always thought 2x damage would be nice.

Their favorite targets are defences bexause the need to walk TOWARDS them. The description of the giant states that you pair them up with their buddies to soak up some damage. What does that sound like to you? They need to walk in the direction of the defense to skak up damage FROM the defences

I know they are big and strong and take a lot of hits, but they are just using their hands you know. I mean at least the HogRiders have stone hammers, balloons have bombs and golem's hands are made of stone. But you go outside and punch your house with nothing but a brass ring around your knuckles and see how long it takes you to make a hole.
