Have you tried upgrading your air defense and putting them in center. That's pretty much all u have to do.

This is true. Centralized, upgraded AD make it hard to 3 star a base with dragons.Quote:

Honestly our clan feels dragons were tweaked and are not worth the elixir anymore. Some of our clan is opting out of war because since the hero and AI changes it's random whether you will 3 star and it's too disheartening to participate.. I opted out this week after only 2'starring last week also.. I'm a TH8 always paired with TH9 in war because I maxed everything including troops before moving to th8.. I spend over an hour planning my war attacks.. But I need golems and upgraded pekkas for the attack I wanna do now, so I opted out of war for awhile.
I been playing with the right mix to lure cc and knock apart the rings so my dragons go to core.. But even landing every dragon in the core with A.D. Doesn't work because they will jump to the ring again.. Which shouldn't be possible until the core is gone, but it is and they will typically miss 1 air defense.. 2 stars.... Irritates me beyond words to spend half a million elixir on a fight to watch it fail... People complained so they subtly nerfed dragons because I use to 3 star th9 with ease using lev2 dragons and now I'm failing with level 3 dragons..
so to defend against dragons you put cc out so I can't use it to go to core, king too.. And you make yiour core with as much gap to core as possible, but not so much I can drop troops in your core.. Air defense in the core, teslas help and work great for gaping.. The remainder is in the ring so dragons follow around outside while a.d. takes them out.
Right right, forgot we were talking about in Wars. While the TH8 defenses might have been a handicap, I wouldn't like that base for defending air attacks personally.Quote:
