Clan wars world cup style tournament

Fairly simple idea, once a year or every 6 months select the top 50 ranking members from each country and place them in a knockout type tournament, they would be placed in a sub-clan which would not effect your normal base in anyway and they would not receive an additional clan castle. select the top 64 countries and have a forum page dedicated to it so people can follow and support their home side battle to the top. Even if your not in the top 50 it would still be so entertaining to follow!(each player in it could also get some sort of decoration placed in their place to show there participating)

That's a good idea, but only few people can be in it. Maybe there's an idea so that more people can be in the tournament?
