Test our Bases

So what I'm thinking is that we could test our own villages to design better layouts. So what i propose is that in village edit mode if all buildings are placed there is a button that says test. And basically you use your own army thats made and can attack you base to find weaknesses and make your base better. And theses tests wont use up your troops or make you lose any resources or make u rearm traps.
Any feedback is appreciated!
Edit: This would have a 14 day cool down to prevent revenge attacks being copied and easily beaten and would be unable to be used during war to prevent an easy win.

Unfortunately, this is too exploitable. What if I changed my base to a base I want to revenge? Sure, I mightn't know the trap placements, but what if that it what I want to test (to find the best trap placements)?

Copying bases is quite common, just look at all the people that copy designs off popular YouTubers or stuff. The same could be applied to this.

Possible, Yes; Feasible No

I don't think people will put in the effort of switching the base to test out for revenge. And also by the time you end up copying the base, they might already be on shield.

So I don't think this feature will be exploited unless some one really gets cold for revenge.

Have you not used the search feature? This is also suggested quite a lot.

Furthermore, the same logic can be applied to war.

Okay the war logic is a good point and my answer to that is that simply during war u cannot use the test feature.

But then revenge is still exploitable.

Yes but it would be used close to never and if it would help there could be a cost to test or a limit per week.

Yeah, this is a lot better now. Let's say one test per 2 weeks at most.
