I had a spy join my clan the other day from the opposing clan during a war. We found out within 30 seconds and booted him upon which he went back to his other clan in the war. Is this ♥♥♥♥♥ing, or simply smart play?

Its an underhanded tactic that cowards employ. Thats why we close our clan as soon as war is declared. Its not ♥♥♥♥♥ing as its withing the rules or whatnot. You did good by kicking asap. My advice would be to close the clan for war.
Well, it is a very bad tactic. And I agree with McNasty. Close the Clan during CWs. All they do is take screenshots of your War bases to see the traps.
I like to leave the clan at invite only during clan wars have a laugh with my clan mates when the other team tries to spy...
Usable but frowned upon.
Yeah its best to just set it to closed or even invite only and only accept them if that person is in someone you can trusts global.
Someone can have a second account that isn't in the war join and do the same thing without you ever knowing:rolleyes:
Well my clan just closes the clan, so no spy's can join.
wat about those clans who wars back to back . then they won't be able to recruit new members :confused:

Spying is a viable tactic of war if you are vulnerable to it.
