Attacking strategy - TH9, recommended strategy.

HI Lads and Gents. I need advice about attacking strategy. Till now i was attacking with 220 archars, AQ and BK. The strategy is pretty good, it cost only around 40 k elixir for one attack and the troops are trained and ready to battle in 20 minutes ( withouts spells).

But i saw some players attacking with archars(102), barbs(102) and wb-s(8). The troops costs is pretty much the same but i thinki if this strategy has the same effect as only with archars? Because i think that the barbs are prety good army but they cant shoot from distance and they are close target for cannons etc ( so maybe i would use 2 heal spels and 2 rage spells)... But this cost to much for me because now im at point when all things cost over 3 millions so i realy have no time and no elixir for spells....

What are you recommend to me? About strategy ? Which is the best ? Maybe some experience ? :confused:

Im in gold legaue around 1500 troophies and lvl 87.

Wait.... was this between archers and barch

BArch is taking Clash of Clans by storm! All levels and people can use it they use barbarians and archers. First you have to find a base with at least 50% and deploy barbarians then quicky behind them deploy archers! The barbs do crazy damage and the archers behind them also. The barbs act like a meat shield and it helped me get to masters!:cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool:

Barch.
8 WB
80 Barbarians, used as mini tanks for achers.
Rest archers(like 128).

You will drop a line of barbs then a line of archers. It works great for me, if you go for thropies I always get 50%+ and if you go for loot it also works pretty good.
Use 2 lighting spell if you want(not neccesary) to take down some annoying mortar.

I'll try iScrew's tactic with 8 wb-s, 80 barbs and rest of archers.... Barbarians are really good when you turn up your iron fist on BK. And then come the AQ behind all troops that must be real hell in opponents base :o...

Hahahh theblackbeltpanda64 i use ballons and minions for attacking in wars, but for random attacking cost too much :/

Or if you lazy like me, set all Barracks with 2 wall breakers each and fill two with archers and two with barbarians.

Set each barrack with 2 wallbreakers in each. Then fill up each with barbs and archers.

I set two barracks 3 wb, rest barbs, other two 1 wb, rest arch to split them evenly. The barbs act as your mini tanks, archers shoot over them while they distract towers. Basic BARCH 101... wall breakers are to get to DE stores closer to sides or stores that are full... otherwise I don't use them and save the loot for the next raid.

Barch is one of those strats that has been around since the beginning of the game, but it is still awesome in terms of investment/reward. You will never three star a decent base with barch, but you can definitely rob collectors and usually get the 1 star.

Barch and BAM.

Cost:
Archer 300
Barb 150

220 all arch = 66k

110 arch + 110 barb = 33k + 16.5k = 49.5k

Every 16.5k saved per battle. Assuming use up all army.

Some add WB. Because it is better to spend 3k-6k to blow up walls, rather than 20 barbs hitting at walls and get roasted by WT/mortar.
Or to blow up 2nd layer walls to guide the army in.

Some add a few giants. To tank, while archers hit from behind.

Back to basic, why I think barch is better than all-arch. WT and mortar can 1 shot kill a bunch of archs. I can use barb as meat shield for 2-3 shots, while archers hit from behind.

and it's cheaper!

I have been farming with 8 wb, 92 barbs, 92 archies, 20 gobs. Small variation to barch, but the 20 gobs helps insure u will get the loot u r going after if u r using them right
