WAR...What is it good for?....absolutely nothhhinnn

You really shouldn't war if you are doing it for the loot. Because the only thing you'll profit on more times than not is the Gold. War is about competition. Its about owning the other clan. Its about working as a team to obtain the most stars and the WIN more than anything else.

We have a saying in our clan- If you depend on war for loot, you aren't raiding enough. Besides, what I normally get from war-600-700k gold/elixir and 2-3k DE I can make in a few normal raids rather than waiting 2 days for the War Win Bonus. The key word is BONUS not profit.

Get out of wars if you're doing it for the loot.

War is for testing out your efficiency.
War is to introduce new ideas, new attack strategies.
War enhances Teamwork.
War brings all of its 50 members together.

Agreeing with all the posters saying that war isn't for the loot.

For my clan its about having fun. Its also a test of our teamwork and coordination against theirs. The loot is as above - a bonus!

And lets not forget those Gem achievements that you can only score through wars also.

With the more than 5 days upgrades, farming becomes boring. Wars are the only thing this game gives you fun.

The goal of the game is to get a max base. To get a max base, you need loot. From clan wars, one attack gives me 250K. I wait 2 days to get 250K when I could wait 20 mins and get that using BARCH instead of GoWiPe.

What's it good for?

Loot - yes loot. Last war I made 700k gold and elixir and 3k de. The elixir more than made up for what my war armies, spells and cc donations cost, and the gold and de was a nice bonus. Nearly a full lego wall from two attacks.

Fun - breaks up the monotony of farming and upgrading, and using armies I don't normally mess with.

Comraderie - brings together the entire clan focused on a single goal, rooting for each other, watching each others' attacks.

I wasn't a big war fan early on, but I really look forward to them now. But if it's not for you, they are not compulsory you know.

That said, it would be nice if SC would up the loot bonuses, as winners should probably not lose DE for their trouble.

Bruh, what resource do you spend in wars? Elixer. And elixer is basically not even a resource

But there are some good things about the wars :
- you can show your friends that you are better than them :D
- if your clan win you get gold for free! Did you spend gold for attacking in CW? No, you didn't!
- If you wait with one attack till end you can attack for loot ( TH down ). And there you can got 100-350 k loot for attack with 5 archers or only with Archer Queen!!!
- If you complete the achievement War Hero you got pretty much gems ( around 1300 i think )....


SO, CLAN WARS ARE GOOD.... THE BEST

I just war because it gets you out of the grind that coc is. Many people myself included would have quit long ago if it was just farm, farm, farm and nothing else. Plus it's fun strategising with your clan. Otherwise wars are useless. They should really up the loot gain because it's no reward in that aspect.
