There is a very easy way to get rid of clan hoppers.
Make it cost elixir to join a clan. The amount could increase with the level of your clan castle. But make it cost enough that there is no advantage to joining a clan just to get a few troops. I would think that 10,000 elixir for level 1 clan castle, increasing to 100,000 for high level clan castles would be a good amount. The elixir that you pay could be divided up equally between the members of the clan.
No offense, but that is a terrible idea. I jump from 5 different family clans and i wouldn't pay anything to keep doing this. It would be better if sc made it so someone wouldn't be able to leave a clan during a war or something like that.Quote:

Think please. If you want to hop in the game you can, Supercell aren't going to just make a rule and say Hoppers may not Hop.
Hoppers are going to hop if they want, that's how they want to play the game. Eventually they'll struggle when they're level is going higher and they want better troops from better clans because they'll get booted by experienced players.
What is the problem with hoppers?
There are good hoppers - those who jump between "family" clans, and those who are lost looking before they commit.
And there are "bad" hoppers - those who join, request & receive, then leave.
Easy fix. Just set the game so that you can donate immediately after joining, but you can not "request" from the clan until you have both A.) been a member for 24 hours B.) Donated at least 20 troop units.
That should fix the bad hoppers.

Hoppers are great they go around requesting troops giving out free xp, if you don't want it then simply don't donate to them.
