More ranks then just elder and co-leader....

As coleader of our clan, I find the current system of 4 ranks, Member, Elder, Coleader and Leader the most effective. Since the introduction of coleader, reduction in abilities Elders have, cooldowns and ability to invite kicked players, we have had little trouble. I think many clans have problems when they let friendships define ranking.
The issue isn't about how many rankings you have, but how you define each ranking. Clan requirements define how you can earn membership, leaders and coleaders define how eldership is earned, and finally the leader defines how coleadership is earned. If everyone understands and respects these definitions, what more does a clan need?

Protesting ignorantly only bothers the system of government. Sure some countries gobe people the RIGHT to protest, but it doesnt mean the goverent has to listen. Why do ypu think theure deleting ruled out threads now?

Here we go re-worked what I first said in this thread.
New idea for Clan Ranking
Newbie>Member>Elder>High Elder>General>Co-Leader>Leader

Newbie- New recruit. Recently or just joined so no "privileges" (just a thought but newbies can't request just donate, it'll show they are loyal an willing to help out before taking. Till your requirement is met ie donate past 275 for promotion to member)

Member- Not a recruit been in the clan for a bit now. Proving to be loyal an a asset to your clan. No "privileges" but can now request for troops.

Elder- The ones who you are starting to appreciate and they are becoming a bigger aid to your clan and it's goal.
Same privileges as recent Elder in CoC

High Elder- Those who are the elite few of your elders. Need to add more privileges or figure what high elder can do. Promote newbie>member an demote member>newbie

General - those that have proven to be loyal and trust worthy. Privileges are inviting people, able to kick elder rank and under. Able to promote newbie>memeber member>elder

Co-Leader- Your right hand crew, you fully would trust to be leader of the clan. Privileges are able to invite people, Send Clan Mail, start clan wars(same privileges as recent COC), able to kick High Elder rank and under an able to promote newbie>member member>elder elder>high elder

Leader- Mastermind to the clan :P
Privileges are same as recent CoC, able to promote/demote to any rank, send clan email, kick any rank, invite people, start wars, edit clan info.

And there will be choices to pick between all 7 ranks or maybe original 3 ranks or just 5 ranks.
If you take 5 ranks. You need to pick between the 3 new ranks (Member, High Elder, General)
AND IF THIS ACTUALLY DOES HAPPEN IT GIVES THE CHOICE TO THE PLAYERS WHO DONT LIKE THE IDEA AN KEEP IT THE WAY THEY WANT IT IN THE CLAN. :)
If I missed anything for privileges or anything at all. Maybe add or fix or adjust. I'd appreciate negative feedback as much as positive. If you do reply with why this shouldn't happen or something to add/remove/fix please explain your theory :)

Maybe then more things with what we have now? Like chat where only Co leader(s) and Leader can only read an to discuss plus plan also run the clan instead of in open clan chat. I don't feel like downloading a outside messenger app like touch

Maybe this is irrelevant, but it popped into my head as I read above. The one thing I disliked about the old three rank system of Member, Elder, Leader was that Elders could promote to Elder and kick and only the leader could prevent this.
A number of times it gave rogue disgruntled Elders the chance to promote a mate to Elder, the mate kicked someone and left. They returned and repeated the process. When Elder lost the ability to promote and Coleaders were introduced, I thought "Great. Now I can reward loyal members without having to worry that if they get disgruntled they can't do much more than kick one person and leave themselves." I really don't want too many people in a clan able to promote others into a position which allows that person to kick lower players. Members are a clan's potential and need to be protected and supported not bullied. Having too many ranks opens up this possibility again.

First of all. Theres no poimt in joining the clan with the newbie rank, unless someone promotes them to member. This already eliminates thr purpose of the newbie
Second, high elder is only a title? Nothing that makes it special, but just a name?
All a general is is a co leader without being able to start a war and send clan messages. Not different enough to create a new rank for it.

Newbie it'll be no name like how people say there is 4 ranks now in COC.( how people want to be promote to elder so they can have that title under there name instead of nothing aka newbie or what it's called now) Also general isn't like co leader besides those two things. Generals can't kick high elders like co leaders can. Carefully read and maybe open your mind to the idea don't have to accept it or agree with it.

Well really don't have much privileges to work with in the COC game . It would just spread out the hiearchy system in clans.

Like i said,the high elder is no better than reg. Elders in the first place, whats the point?

That's my fear too but if this theory happened put the ones you know won't go on a kicking fury in high elder or up and put the ones your not sure of in elder under.
