hate seeing this come up members get sick of being kicked,reinvited and having donations reset....would be easy just to select who gets in war and who doesnt

I thought they just forgot about it and would bring it in a few days.

This is not a serious problem unlike uneven matchmaking. All players can attack twice. This means that as long as 50% of your clan is active in warring then you can cover up for your teammates. Again, our clan has members going on vacations etc... No problem, I will 3-star both my attacks to compensate for him as will other members.

Ah yes, no problem. Myself and the other th8s around me will pick up the slack for our th10 clanmates with maxed troops and spells. Thank goodness CoC adds a star to each attack when a lower th attacks higher up.

On a completely unrelated topic, were you also on the problem solving committee that came up with the Bay of Pigs invasion?

lol, no wonder your clan is having problems. If your clan only has one TH10 or base on that level and he is not warring then its not hard to figure out to not war until he comes back. Even if you opt out on him your clan most likely will get matched unevenly anyways. Please use common sense when starting wars.

You should have stop at "I am not an expert in IT." Although I still cannot decide which side I want to pick yet, I can tell you right now an opt in and/or out function will NOT complicate anything when it comes to matchmaking... why would the algorithm change in any way? When a player decides to opt out, the system will simply pick the next available player with the most trophies, how is that any different from co/leader kicking the player?

Yes the system predetermines the strength of a clan before the star war button is pressed, but when a player who is part of the algorithm leaves, the system quickly recalculate... when a clan is one less player from required member, ex. 1 leaves from a 20 clan, the system automatically scale it down to 15...

You really are dense aren't you? I am that TH10 and we have no problems because we are a war clan always at war. However, I was a leader of another clan for 10 months that was a mixed clan of TH6-10 and it was a problem when CW rolled around. I never skip wars as I love them, I don't care if both my heroes are down or my spell factory is upgrading, I was always warring if our clan was in one.

So yeah, maybe you should use some of those brilliant deduction skills you claim to have next time before making yourself look that much more ridiculous. I mean really, my forum name and game name are the same so what did you expect? Our clan does get some mismatches due to our steep differences, right now we are the massive underdogs, so be it. We are a group of friends warring together and therefor we have all sorts of TH levels.

You've not offered ANY solutions and the thoughts you have been sharing have been blatantly wrong... others have already pointed out why. I suggest you stop making a fool of yourself and opt out of this conversation. Surely there must be a button for that.

Hmmm... What about the existing system that makes new people ineligable to war until XX time? If the game can compensate for that then an opt out system is not a problem.
