Should I upgrade to TH8?

Usually the answer is no, but I basically have all my walls upgraded to lvl 7 (max) and have only a few more defenses to upgrade (some Hidden Teslas to lvl 3 and Air Defenses to lvl 5 are going to take time). I also have 5 builders, so that speeds things up. I also spent a couple of days to get my Barb King maxed out at lvl 5, so that's out of the way. I know there's going to be a significant loot penalty in TH 8, but I know I'm going to max out on gold, even with 5 builders. I'm not worried about getting loot at the moment, so what's the point of maxing out everything first and then upgrading to TH 8? I think it's a better idea to upgrade to TH 8 now, and in 8 days I'll have about 80% of my defenses upgraded to max and 100% of my walls. While if I maxed out on everything first, then I'll have nothing to do for 8 days while TH is being upgraded.

Go for it, I didn't even have half my walls done when I went to TH8 and I didn't have any problems. And the loot penalty is hardly noticeable. TH7 can store more loot than TH6 and it's easy to barch their bases once you get your lvl 5 troops. You can even easily hit most other TH8 as well. Loot will not be a problem!

Looks like you're set to go, just upgrade your teslas while waiting for th8.
