Are these ideas even read by supercell???

I have to wonder why there are so many good ideas in the forum to improve Hay Day for the players yet no one from supercell even responds to them.. My sister and I have been playing for a long time.. We DID enjoy the updates, but seems like supercell isn't even bothering with Hay Day to make the game more enjoyable for the players just making more for players to HAVE to struggle and try to pay with diamonds.. The town PPL do ask for too many items.. I can only fill one boat a day now.. Tom could be improved.. The tool shed should be done for the players.. The players have spoken here yet there's nothing.. I'm about ready for a long break from Hay Day.. Other games online got this way too.. Shame its happening to Hay Day to now..

Every 'idea' you touched on would make the game profoundly simple. With no game choices to make hayday becomes a simple sim farm game. Before you had little choice besides doing boat and truck orders. The town gives you more choice with a higher payout for completion by virtue of a guaranteed expansion item. It is now your choice to fulfill town people instead of your boat. It is your choice to satisfy 100% of the town visitors or your boat. It is your choice to stockpile bems tems sems and lems all at once, putting stress on your barn capacity.

Look at the majority of posters for these ideas...It is usually their one and only post, instigated by a barn exploding or momentary frustration. Even if devs read the forums, I wouldnt expect them to respond to everything, especially posts from people with no forum participation.

No one can STOCKPILE things any more. Town ppl asking for 4 sugars is not write. Yea there are choices an I choose to send boats away but just do one in 24 hours. I don't fill but one order on my board a day, most I just tear off! I don't help neighbors unless they want wheat! An I can't put things on my stand to sell because I am always making items for my towns ppl an yet I sent almost half away because the items are depleted and/or my barn won't hold anymore on account of material to upgrade! So NO choices aren't balanced at all. If you didn't BUY Tom, then most things won't get filled...so why bother filling them.

Edit to add: I just queued 9 goat cheese even when my dairy had stockpiled items. So stacking is still possible.

SC does read this forum and they have implemented MANY ideas from players, but it would be impossible for them to respond to each and every post or to implement each and every idea.

No one said supercell NEEDS to respond to EVERY idea! Just reading the forums an seeing all the good ideas to improve parts of Hay Day, like the clothing issue, not one has been addressed or happened. That is all that was stated in the post. Maybe Supercell is going to maybe not. When they add new features some of the old features need to be brought up to the new feature standards. I have been playing this over a year now an everyday. I see with the new features you either purchase Tom or don't do most tasks. I don't do the tasks so I don't play Hay Day as much. Yes this is the way of choices

SC has very rarely responded to the suggestions here, yet they have implemented many. You do not know what they have in the works.

First I never said for supercell to read each and every idea on here.. I don't see where they have responded to PPL or their ideas.. Again not EVERYONES.. Nor did I say for supercell to do EVERY persons idea.. Second wether PPL post once in awhile on opinions they feel, they have that right.. It don't feel they are any less important then others.. With the issue of stock piling .. With the last town update it has made it harder to now hold on to town materials plus barn, silo materials.. In the town you reach a certain level you can't upgrade any buildings till your next level.. Plus trying to make all the products for the town PPL (that I feel 3 sugars to one person) is a bit much.. Supercell could lower times on some products for PPL.. Its ridiculous waiting 24 hours for one candy bar.. A clothes store is a great idea.. A certain tool she'd is too.. Most PPL aren't looking for easy easy on HD but they could update to some of the ideas that make the game more enjoyable and PPL want to play more.. I have over 200 PPL on my GC for HD only.. About maybe 20 play.. They are not playing HD anymore.. A few said how annoying some products took so long to make and stopped playing.. I don't know if supercell will have an update soon for anything.. I'm hoping they do..

The town has infused more choice into the game that had little choice before. Before, we ran all production machines 24/7, rotating based on demand sources (boat/truck). Now we have to make choices between town, boat, and trucks. It is difficult to do all 100% of the time. The game is not built to do that and people are so used to playing one way, they seem to be unable to adapt to changes and learn a new way to play. Look at all the people threatening to quit because of the changes to the newspaper exploit. Demands about a tool shed are cut from the same cloth.

Like I said. I do one boat in 24 hours maybe, yes my choice, I don't do my bulletin board unless it's clothes or crops, I tear it off, yes my choice. I don't sell to my neighbors unless it's clothes or wheat, yes my point. I send most of my town ppl away so I am not going to my town but once in the morning an once at night, yes my choice. So I don't play Hay Day that much because it will take that long when my makers are going 24/7 still because candy takes half a day an I may have 4 to 6 ppl wanting jellybeans that I can't keep up nor store. I need 65 items to upgrade my barn an silo that's a lot of space taken for a long time to get it all. An upgrading is a necessity. So yes we make CHOICES! The IDEAS an SUGGESTIONS in the forums are meant, I'm sure, by ppl who just want to play an not wait...wait...wait or just let it go!

If you are sending most of your town people away, at your level that is taking care of a lot of the demand for jellybeans, so how is that still a problem? How many shops do visitors demand jellybeans in? Might be a good tactic to avoid that store or stores. It would be the same as a high level 40 avoiding cafe people because of the huge demand on ice cream.

Even at 65x3 I am assuming...that is completely doable if you have patience and dont stockpile sems and lems at the same time. If you are in a nh when you are focusing on your barn, sell your silo parts to others. It is a system that has worked great in our nh.

I have no idea what the town ppl will want till I place them. Then I have to descide who goes, especially ones who want 5 sugar or butter GO, but it wound be stupid to send away someone wanting high paying items such as jellybean or soups. Just those items are hard to stock up on so I have to wait an wait till I get enough for 3 to 4 ppl. They are not plentiful in the paper any more. An no I need my material to up grade my TOWN shops now. Since I have to wait till I get to the next level an sending ppl away because I don't have enough items to fill orders, I hold into material longer. So I make plenty of choices. This post was about all the GREAT ideas being suggested in the forums to make Hay Day a bit more pleasant. Not just CHOOSING an WAITING. Unless you purchase Tom. An I have purchased Tom a zillion times. Not seeing it's a necessity in order to play at a pleading pace.

Ive read all the replies from people in here and just want to remind people what it is about. To make clear it is about supercell not physically responding to suggestions and ideas on here, even the popular ones.i.e. the tool shed. By responding christine did not literally mean for supercell to wrote a comment, she meant for supercell to take ideas forward as our ideas, as it sounds, are being ignored.

In my opinion i think if supercell had a seperate page that nobody could comment on saying ideas they are looking into. But then i guess they will like doing random updates that suprised everyone so my idea might not be good but would at least let us know were recognised.

Hay Day is one of the most active games I have played on these devices. For the most the updates are fun an the town was great. Ppl play at their own pace an style so each suggestion is what may help them an others in their shoes, so to speak. For me it's more material I have to hold onto IF I want to upgrade my town shops now. Well I do want to upgrade my shops but I must hold onto my material ,like Christine, till I reach the next level. That takes up more space longer. An longer especially since I HAVE to send more visitors away because they want higher items, soup an candy etc.., Then for me I suggested a clothing shop in town, nothing yet, because clothes don't sell well for me! I put 3 sweaters on my stand an they stayed there for about 3 days. NO MORE! That took up two spaces on my stand.
No one said supercell should respond to every idea but we get new items in light of all these great suggestions supercell gives us 2 more bunnies. Yes we love them an are glad we got them but still have to wonder why when some ideas are really needed by us. Still the updates are exciting, the decorations are cool, an we can't wait, kids nor adults, for the next big suprise hoping it will be also one of the ideas someone suggested too. That's all Christine was meaning I believe.

Yes, I believe that SC reads all of these comments and considers all of them. A lot of ideas that have been given have been implemented, but it takes a lot of people asking for something before it's done. Look how long it took to get the diamond confirmation button.

I have been playing Hay Day for at least a year and a half. I agree that with the addition of the town we have more choices to make as far as which orders to complete because it is not possible to do them all. However, the town addition brought with it seven additional items that are needed to expand the buildings and the land. I understand completely that this is a major burden on the barn to hold onto enough items to upgrade the buildings in the town, along with the demands of the town visitors, especially for younger farms. I had 3 farms and I was forced to stop working 2 of them because I could no longer keep up with it. With the addition of the town, I strongly believe that we should have been given something extra to store all the extra items required for the town. When they gave us the fishing area, we were given a tackle box to store the lures, nets and traps outside of the barn, so the addition of the fishing area did not get all the complaints about storage as the new town did. Yes we have to make adjustments and choices as far as which orders we complete and which town visitors we serve, but we should not have to give up EVERYTHING for the sake of storing all the additional expansion materials in our barns. If they didn't want to provide a tool shed, and I really think they should, then perhaps they should have automatically given everyone an additional 50 slots in their barns to compensate for the extra tools and expansion items that are now needed.

Upgrading IS a necessity so one pretty much has to hold onto the expansion items they get as gifts from the town visitors. People are talking about quitting playing not because they want the game to be "easy" but because it has become too frustrating. The requests from the town visitors are not anywhere close to being logical and that, I believe, is the biggest part of the problem. Someone going to the spa and asking for 25 ears of corn and 4 pumpkins is totally illogical. Does anyone really eat 25 ears of corn at once AND 4 pumpkins? What else can you do with the corn in the spa other then eat it? And who goes to a cinema and eats 5 bags of popcorn? Or a fishburger, fish and chips, and popcorn? Or two cakes and a pie in the diner? These are just ridiculous requests and you are forced to either send them away and lose the gift or have very high stocks of everything in your barn. I feel that the requests from the town visitors should more reflect what a "normal" person would request in such buildings as this will relieve some of the strain on the barn. And I also feel that the town needs require the addition of a tool shed because of all the new expansion items we were given to hold onto.

For sure we are listening and reading! :) If you look at the update history of Hay Day, almost in all updates there are features/changes based on feedback from our players! That being said, unfortunately not all ideas or features fit the game as a whole. Some ideas would change the balance too much and thus are not feasible.

But rest assured, both we (staff) and the mods read and report back ideas to the team! :)

I would like to start by saying that your post is really good, even if I'm going to argue against some of the above in a moment. I think most of what you suggest for improvements are relevant and balanced when it comes to town people orders, even if I don't necessarily agree with respect to storage of barn expansion items - personally, I feel sometimes people have a tendency to want to hoard everything including building items in large amounts, where the idea might have been to encourage people to sell what you don't need immediately to make room for what you need urgently, thus putting more things into circulation. Whether one agrees with this philosophy is a different question, and maybe I myself was just lucky to be at a level where I could fairly easily accommodate the most urgent town upgrades.

With respect to your last quoted sentence, I would like to add that while what you say in some cases might be true, I think in many other cases there's an element of "careful what you wish for" where people don't really realize how trivial game would become if what they suggested would be reality. Suggestions I see floating around fairly often are things like "buy expansion items for money", "buy vouchers for money", "produce expansion items from dead trees" and one of my favorites, "a tree that grows diamonds instead of fruits"(?). Now I'm not going to give you a lecture about why these things would probably make game trivial, because from what I read in your post I think you do understand that, but I do want to point out that things like these pop up a lot along with the many good suggestions on this forum, and while people might not post them with a conscious intent of making the game easy (trivial), that would still be the outcome.

Yes we do read through your suggestions and I also would like to add that we do appreciate the feedbacks and new ideas from our players.

Thank you. I think I've seen those suggestions that you mentioned! Personally right now for me, I don't care one way or the other if we get a tool shed, but that's just because I'm done expanding my town and buildings as far as I care to. It wasn't terribly difficult for me at my level, but I know that many lower level farms will struggle greatly with smaller barns and all the expansion stuff needed, and it will be those players who will give up and quit.

I too have read the ideas of the PPL who play HD.. Most have great ideas that I feel would just help make the game enjoyable for the players to keep a balance and keep playing.. I'm a higher level and yes I've seen a lot of PPL stop playing from being frustrated in the times certain items take to make.. I myself can't help PPL with boat help like I did before if I choose to give to my PPL in town.. I can't give jams to PPL in town, and boat, and board, and help others too.. I do fill my friends boats with other items as much as I can... I love the new town, but the items the town PPL want are too much.. I'm fine giving one person 1 sugar, but I feel 4 is a bit much... Or giving 1 cream, but not 4 creams... I see others felt the same... I just wanted to voice what I seen and have been thru with the game... My makers have always been making 24/7 ... Yet I feel the choices to make in a game maybe shouldn't be so extreme... Thank you supercell for having the forums for us to express our thoughts and ideas to make the game more enjoyable, and thank you for responding... Thank you to all the PPL who voiced on this thread also.. I do appreciate it.. I hope for an update that we all will enjoy..

4 sugars to a town person yields a guaranteed expansion item, mine, or saw. 4 sugars in a boat box, where the count is usually 7-9..is about 1/9th of what is usually only a green voucher. It is all about opportunity cost. We fail as players when we do not see the added value of the assured item drop in town people versus other game activities. Heck in an upgraded shop that jam will yield you more xp and coin than it will to a truck order, boat, or farm visitor...

I would firstly like to thank nick and jumpei for responding, it meant a lot.

Also the comment from Alcibiades on the previous page. Your view is very realistic and to be honest I agree 100% that people do want to hoard every building material instead of concentrating on one upgrade and sell the others to help circulate them. However i still believe there are too many needed. To cincentrate on one upgrade your looking at about 30+ spaces In the barn. Alternatively maybe if the amount needed were slightly reduced?
Also the comments on using money to get upgrades and be able to sell and buy tickets, I really hope this idea does not happen. I know it is hard to get those tickets and that but if we were to buy everything the game would be too easy. And would therefore loose players and then the makers would loose money.

Ok ok. Supercell acknowledged this post. That's what Christine was wondering about. It's great, but ppl we all play games our own way at out own pace. An our suggestions are what WE feel will improve our game. Not one person that I read said "I want it EASIER!"
An we all know what pays out an what doesn't. So again WE MAKE CHOICES! This has been established. I pick my choices an so does everyone else. What works for YOU don't work for me.
At least Supercell reads the forums an we can't wait to see what will be added next.
