Here I posted some important things for us th8's
Farming is obviously done with getting loot in mind, and therefore, you want to maximize profits, so if you want to farm off of full collectors, mines, or drills, I recommend Barcher (barbarians and archers; feel free to throw in 3-4 wallbreakers), BAM (Barbarian, archer, minion), or BAG (Barbarian, archer, goblin). Those three have personally worked for me, and i've been able to hit about 1.5 million - 3.5 million gold and elixir an hour boosting 4 barracks with all three of those armies. Spells are not really required, but do help if farming Dark Elixir or gold. Now, if you want to do storage raiding, BAGG (Barbarian, Archer, Goblin, Giant) with spells of your choice (healing/rage are good) does excellent if you know what you are doing. You might also want to look at switching to a farming base if you haven't already. You can find some awesome TH8 farming bases on the forums...And league-wise, you have sub-200, which I personally never tried and find useless, (but hey, whatever works for you), 1150-1300 is also very good, and I have personally seen clanmates find many, many, million + raids as TH8s in that range, and 1600+ , but no higher than 1950 for Dark Elixir and decent elixir and gold...This is really confusing, so I hope you can understand what I'm saying. :P
