Man, it doesnt really changes anything if you go to TH9 if you talk about farming. I've been barching at th6, 7, 8 and 9 and tbh I never felt any big difference about it being harder or easier to farm from a th to another. I'd say go to TH9, maxed out Barbs n Archers to get easier 50% and stay at the range you want, feel cool with maxed out stuff, donate maxed archers, but at the very end it won't change that much. I'd go for th9 if I were you
My leader is saying that raiding is bad at th9. And he wants me to finish walls... And i think he will be mad if i go th9Quote:

Well. I finally pulled the trigger on th9 upgrade. I'm maxed except for a couple elixir collectors and my small bombs. I know many mentioned going early, but Im glad i listened to some and maxed most everything. I'm not excited about th9 loot issues, but I'm excited to get new items. The only troop i haven't maxed is valks because i never use them. I think i made the right call in waiting, but who knows, so we'll see.

Once you hit level 80 you should seriously consider upgrading to th 9. Not much point staying too long at th 8 after that level.
