I'm going to be honest, the game used in the video is not Clash of Clans. The topic of the video is not getting better at Clash of Clans. However, it will teach you a lot about it, indirectly.

For those that don't want to watch a ten minute video, this is what it teaches you to apply to clash.
1. Troops would rather go through openings than attack a wall.
2. Keep storages behind walls.
3. If your towers are close together, they can overlap fire.
4. If your townhall is in the center of your base, it's harder for the enemy to kill it.

I hope you can now all become champion league players with this overly remedial lesson.
