You could only take out 1 decent lvl AD with lightning and the remaining AD's, air mines, wiz and arch towers etc should make a good dent in any air attack.

Ive been hit by 9 drags along with supporting ground troops and didn't lose a star. Ive never been hit with balloons.

My Tesla theme park is basically maxed, ADs are only lvl 4 though.

And for the record, i have tested this base to 2390 trophies. A large percentage of the th8's up there are the tesla theme park, so theres gotta be something to vouch for the design in that;)

can anyone show me a link or screenshot of the th9 version. 6 days out from th finishing upgrade and looking at farming options. Cheers

I honestly don't see any TH8 design that can withstand a full attack like that. It's a farming base designed to protect against farming troops, funnels for giants etc. I have this design for my alt TH8 account and it's fantastic. It's the best TH8 design IMO due to perfectly balanced triangle defence in it's centre with the Wiz, Mortar and AD's covering all angles. The other popular TH8 designs fail in that regard with poorly placed key defences.

Any th9 version for this??

Very nice guide, kept me entertained the whole time! Also, I'm planning on using your trophy hunting base for my trophy push. Just to be clear, should I use version 2.2.0 until 2400 trophies and then switch to 2.2.1 after 2400 ? Sorry if this has been answered before. Thanks!

I'm using the farming base for trophy hunting, if that makes any sense. I get raided only once in a night, and only raid for 1 stars and loot, and always make a profit on both trophies and loot. So I lose 11 trophies in a night max from town hall, and then I raid and gain a profit of 2 million gold and elixir, 3000 dark elixir, and i end at 30+ trophies profited, after my town hall gives me a shield again, and the process continues...

I just want to thank you Pingfao for you hard work and well thought out TH8's designs. I started using the farming one today. My trophy count is low so I don't expect to many major attacks. Although you design is well known now it is still very hard to beat. No base is unbeatable with the right spells and troops but this base will surely make it a lot more difficult. You will have to spend some CoC bucks to three star these bases.

Considering that the majority of people who play CoC do not use this forum or watch you tube videos about CoC I would say that these bases will be usable for a long time. Thanks again.

Thanks for sharing! I have one question. What are your thoughts on a centered BK, is it worth it at th8, and how would it look like?

I used to like this base, I implement this for almost 3 months.
But it's too mainstream now and lots of people learned how to deal with this design.
They attack from 1 side, sometimes +rage and when they reached middle, everything is gone.
But still, pingfao created one of the best TH8 design and I admire that. :)
