Level 1 witches - strong enough?

Are level 1 witches strong enough to take down a mid strength level 9 townhall base? I have level 6 giants and level 1 golems

They work for me. Just depends on with what other troops you plan on using them with.

I want them for the wars. Sometimes anti hog bases seem impossible to wipe out especially if they are level nines. I'm hoping witches will be the answer. They will be available today, but I don't want to blow thousands in dark elixir with the wrong strategies just to get the hang of them. Any advice?

There is a huge difference in level 2 witches over level 1.

Personally, i never found the level 1 witch much good and packed 3 wizards instead. Now i use 6 witches and can 3 star most th9's. However, you will need to upgrade your golems. Golems are a huge part of that strategy as they soak up off the damage that will toast your witches.

Really depends on the strength of the other th9. Best thing i can tell you is try it...its the only way you'll know.

my army was: 2 pekkas, 2 golems, 6 wizards, 6 witches and 7 wb. I went with 1 lightning, 1 heal and 2 rage.

all were max level for th9 and i could 3 star many other th9's

Thanks for the advice!! I'm upgrading the witches almost as soon as they arrive. Is there any reason level 6 giants in place of golemsmight not be a good idea?

I to would use a mix of golems witches and wiz with maybe a pekka or two. Just watch some YouTube videos on the strategy.
