Max amount of troops in a camp?

Whats the max amount of troops ppl can have in there camps... I was raided through the night and the person attacked with 257 archers and 6 brabs... Im i missing something as to where you can get more then the maxed troops of 240?

Yeah, it's called Clan Castle troops

He had troops in his clan castle.
