Possibly lengthen the attack time. And maybe aborting the time on search time? Because 30 seconds or so is not enough time to scout and decide whether it's the right decision to attack. Wast of coinage. Thanks. Feed back appreciated.

3 mins is adequate for an attack. Just have to be fast enough to deploy all troops and spells.
the 30 secs to check a base out is more than enough. As you play longer, you will know what to look for and where to deploy
3 mins I don't think is enough time to attack when you are trying to play a strategy against the enemy, it's not cool when you are taking the opponent and the clock runs out with players on the field and you could have obtained 100%. 30 secs is close to enough time for scouting but not reasonable when you want to make the right decision on attacking instead of throwing troops away on a hunch that you could take them from the first opening you see, that one opening could lead you straight to defeat from the get go. Quick decisions lead to quick defeat.
Where does an extra 30secs make it easy to win? And how would that make you lose all your defense. But I give up. Thanks....not really.
I actually really like this idea and I can relate to every bit of it. I've gotten into an attack I didn't want to do because I spent my whole 30 seconds trying to spot all the defenses and weak spots where I could attack. I support this idea and I think it should be in the update.
I don't really need it but I think extending the scout time to one minute could be helpful. However, I think three minutes for an attack is fine. That's what part of the strategy is: deploying troops that will deal enough damage to destroy the base in the amount of time you have.
first off, many of you guys didn't properly read the OP.
They said to abort the searching time before choosing to engage the enemy or to click next.
That means you could spend up to 6 hours theoretically, taking up someone's base time, not allowing them to log on.
Even if it were only 10 minutes, that's 10 minutes that someone else can't log on because you're still scouting their base decided to attack or not, or you're just trolling them. Nope, poor idea.
3.5 minutes of time that a player being attacked that they can't access their base is a good length. 30 seconds to decide whether or not to attack a base a perfect challenge for you to learn how to quickly identify the strength of a base and whether you wanna attack it. It's just long enough that you can formulate a decent attack strategy, but short enough that you can't catch every single flaw or weakness. It's just right.
3 minutes of attack time is also just right.
