BARCH/BAM For dark elixir?

So I know that barch and bam is the fastest way to make gold/ elixir. But are these strategies strong enough to get the center for de storages? I'm getting ready to move to th9 and I want my heroes to upgrade non stop and research de troops, but also want the other resources (primarily elixir at the beginning). Any advice? How do you guys go about getting de as well as other resources at the same time? What troops do you use as well as what trophies do you stay at? Thanks!

When going for Dark Elixir, you generally want to use a stronger army.

i used 10 Giants, 10 Wallbreakers, 80 Goblins and 50 Archers to get Dark Elixir.

You want to break into the core of the base as quickly as possible, and use Goblins to take the DE out.

If you are going to barch for your DE, your heroes play a large role and the well placed rage spell makes a huge difference as well.

Hahahah, if you barch dark elixir you are not going to have your heroes cause they are upgrading!

I will probably use an army like this since I can break into the core to get de and also raid those collectors for gold/elixir. Even though I will miss barch for the quickness of raiding :( what trophy range did you raid in?

Often DE is well protected. So you need other troops to help get into the core. Take some Giants and Wizards.
