Hey guys. Im a fully maxed th9. Bar walls, doing skulls now. I am defending most attacks now, bar one. GOWIWI. can it be defended at th9? I mean there are people who cant use it and dont succeed, but the ones who can, usually 3 star me. I like anti hog anti air bases which mine is atm. Im after a war base that defends the lot. Is there such a thing?

there is no such base that is anti to everything. if you are up against a pro attacker, surely the attacker can take down any base.
try pointing xbow to ground mode if want to anti gowiwi. xbow will start shooting the golem at a further range.
some stated that if cc, and heroes if place in core will only pull the attacking troops into the core. and pro gowiwi attacker prefer to attack such a base.
i have also seen a base with the bottom part very wide open but top part full with walls and compartment.
said to be an anti 3 stars base. meaning that pro gowiwi attacker also will only able to grab max 2 stars only. will waste lots of time and troops just to break up the walls and compartment at the top part.

I'm a mid TH9'er (Golems 3, Witches 2, Wizards 5, Heroes 14) and I just 73% a maxed TH9 baring walls (some lava, rest legos) and Heroes (15). I myself got smashed 100% by a TH10 GoWiWi.
I think its safe to say that a TH9 GoWiWi can always 2 star a TH9. And with a little luck and big heroes its a 3 star. And a TH10 can 3 star a TH9.
Its true it comes down to the attacker. Just wanted something that may work well on golems. Perhaps not much does lol.
Only hope for a town hall 9 is to somehow divert golems away from core using their defense ai.Quote:

I use this base in clan war before i went to 10 1 1/2 weeks ago and it would take quite a few before they would get 2 and the only 3 star ever was when a forum elite 1 guy 3 starred it other than that had 3-4 2's rest 1's i would always get hit by 10's at least after attack 1 star no1

Btw check out my thread I posted statistics on how well it performs on various attacking compositions.
Each base is effective against different types of army compositions. You want a base that is anti-hog, partly Anti-GoWiPe and if possible at least 2 AD in core to counter mass drag and Balloonion. Don't have all air defenses in the core as it will make it a guaranteed HoLoWiWi 3 star. I personally have a very good war base (Took 5 attacks last war and still only managed 2 stars, even the #2 attacked me) but I'm not sharing :rolleyes: Hehe
