BK vs AQ

I'm sure this has been discussed many times before, but which hero do you guys find more useful, all things considered?

Archer Queen hands down.

AQ from what I hear

Archer queen is better by far. Doesn't mean you don't need the BK though.

Not even close-AQ all the way

Do you guys upgrade them evenly? Or do you upgrade the AQ almost exclusively?

I completely stopped upgrading my BK once the update happened (BK is at 10). AQ only until they fix the BK.

I'm a bit OCD, so I do it evenly. My plan is rotate my heros upgrade (once a week.)

All I can say is this, it's a good week when I have my AQ for the week :o

You should think about switching it up to increments of every 5 levels instead of every level. Since the update, the heroes' ability levels are where most of their strength comes from, so instead of alternating and taking twice as long to get the next ability level for both of them, level up one of their abilities before catching the other one up. That way you at least get the upgraded ability level of one hero for half of the time to upgrade both.
