Some Boom Beach defenses in Clash of Clans
This MIGHT be the stupidest idea ever in CoC, but it will still be interesting. I was thinking that it would be really epic to see the unique defenses in Boom Beach to be in Clash of Clans, because new defenses = more challenging gameplay!
Now I know what you're thinking," GUNS CAN'T BE IN CLASH OF CLANS BECAUSE OF THE TIME DIFFERENCE!" And that's true, so I've came up with variations instead.
Machine Gun ---> Z-Bow (I got REALLY creative with this one)
Description: This is basically an X-Bow, but with a much smaller range and a much higher attack damage (when closer of course). The X-Bow shoots directly at units with 100% accuracy, but the Z-Bow will spread. Although they'll miss at a further range, this spreading could really help when the units are trying to destroy the Z-Bow at melee range and can even take out two troops (or more) at once! I couldn't call this the Y-Bow because that would mean the Bow would have to shoot directly up (Algebra reference). Also you can get this at TH8. This bow can't shoot air units unfortunately, because of it's short range.
Rocket Launcher ---> Rocket Launcher
Description: The name is still the same because THERE ARE ROCKETS IN CLASH OF CLANS (air defense)! The design should actually be very similar to the air defense and the way it attacks is that it will fire rockets out of the shell, and instead of shooting up like the Air Defense, the rockets will fly back down midway its' flight and crash down into the enemies, barraging them with 6 rockets! You know how Riflemen and Zookas are quite weak to Rocket Launchers? This would mean that the Rocket Launcher will PUNISH the cheap clashers with BARCHERS! In fact, this might be the real only way to counter BARCHERS (as mortars and wizard towers can only attack one spot while the Rocket Launcher can attack multiple spots at a time). But the disadvantages are that it takes a while to reload and any troop that is in the attacking range of the Rocket Launcher can't be hurt by that Rocket Launcher (because the blind spot is that big). By the way, it's not the most accurate weapon either. This will also work on air units as well, meaning that minions are doomed! The TH for this should be at 10, because this is OP.
Flamethrower --> Dragon
Description: This is basically the better version of the Wizard Tower, because it can turn around a bit while firing a continuous wall of fire! It has a short range though, just like the Wizard Tower. In fact, take everything you know about the wizard tower, and then make another defense unit that is the same thing except that the wizard tower shoots a continuous beam of lightning instead of a charge and shoot as well as turning left and right rapidly! And don't forget the afterburn! The only downside this beast will have is that it will have to do slightly less damage then the Wizard Tower (still enough to obliterate the weak ones), have lower health, and you can only have one in the game. I haven't thought of the TH for this beast yet though. This Dragon doesn't like flying or moving though, no one is sure why...
Shock Launcher --> Frost Mortar
Description: Basically a Mortar that does less damage then a normal Mortar, but freezes troops for a few seconds (like around 1-3 seconds). It's charging time is the same as a normal Mortar, as well as the radius of explosion. There's not much to say other then this could disrupt attack plans by making chokepoints for defenses. WARNING: The Frost Mortar will be COMPLETELY obsolete to troops that have been attacked by the Flamethrower or the Inferno Tower at least once during the battle! TH for this should be 9.
Gloomshroom --> Axe Tower
Description: WAIT, this isn't from Boom Beach, this is from Plants vs Zombies! Yea I'm aware of that, but I feel like we need something like this, in case your clan can't give you a Valkyrie. I don't even have to explain what this tower does other then spin an axe around like the Valkyrie. The downside could either be low health or slow cooldown. Take that you BARCHERS! (Also if you haven't noticed already most of these defenses are used to counter BARCHERS because they are the cheapest thing since dollar stores. Get a few trophies, get a LOT of loot, and pay very little! Just spin your fingers around the base with tier 1 troops and you win! At least Hog Rider raids and Dragon raids are somewhat costly).
Laser Bean --> Laser Cannon
Well since we're in the topic of PvZ, I might as well go add in a special cannon that pierces through troops. It's not a productive idea, but it would be an interesting experiment.
