This is assuming you have a nice mix of th7,8,9, and 10....the 7s and 8s would be rewarded here because bases are the easiest to 3 star at that level. The th10 attacks a capped base, gets to stars, which would be unbelievable, but yet gets less of a bonus, plus there isnt a base higher than his for gem bonus. This idea is good, but seems to only reward the bottom teirs of a clan, should be the other way around....plus it create so much sniping.
- Sniping? How can you 3-stars someone with sniping?
- If you want a guaranteed 6-stars by attacking those who are significantly smaller than you then be my guest! You will be wasting your attacks on those who should have been attacked by your smaller clan mates, then in the end, risk of losing the war.
- 3-starring somoene who is ranked higher than you, assuming that the CoC matchmaking and power level estimation is accurate to reality, is very difficult.
- The TH10 guys will still get 15% bonuses, though only the ranks 1 and 2 of each clan wont be able to get gem bonuses of 1-2 gems PER clan war, because, who else is stronger than them and who should they be matched against on the other clan? Of course, the other clan's top 1 and 2.
and what if I need a clan member to attack below their rank for the stars to win? That clan member will be less inclined if he knows he wont score your proposed loot bonus. This kind of thing does not promote teamwork at all. Id have a bunch of loot bonus/glory seekers and that's not cool.
They get the 15% extra if they attack 2 enemy clan members that are low and 6 stars them?
Alright, I am a firm believer in constructive criticism... so please don't make me out for a bad guy. :D
I have 2 fairly big problems with this idea.
The first, is the fact that you actually PENALIZE someone for participating in a war. I do not like that at all, I'm sorry! You can't downgrade a legitimately "bad war" from someone, it's just not right!
Secondly, Supercell will not like the idea of giving away free gems. In the good old "real world", you're talking about profits lost, my friend, and no one likes to lose out on that!

Yes, actually, it is indeed free gems, but it is not abusable, the values are NOT over the top.
Also, the numbers are open to ideas and suggestions.

Understandable. But everyone has bad wars. :) You can't always have good attacks. Perhaps if you were to penalize a player, look only at the percentage of destruction rather than the star count? My reasoning being, what if someone gets 49% and NO stars? However, I completely understand what you are trying to accomplish with having a penalization for "bad" attacks.
As for the gem reward, perhaps you are right. Though, when you say "ranks", you mean when base #10 attacks base #5, it's 5 ranks above his own?
