I was just about to post this myself! I do have an idea for the wings, however. They could be used to flap over a wall, much like hog riders, so it lands on the other side. I think this game would be great with more reptilian monsters

I like this idea. Perhaps make it have less of a boost as it nears death, however, and tack on a small speed increase. Just before death, I think 26 speed would be ideal.
Personally i love the idea of heroes being the Hydras weakness since the Hydra was killed by Hero, so as of now the hero is the official Hydras weakness. Thank you SuperViking for the amazing idea!
[QUOTE=TheHobbityHobbits44;2587498]The Hydra: New Dark Troop!
The Hydra
sorry the image is quite small but likethis? hope it looks alright and instead of having many different stages just has 3 heads (starts off with one) so the Hydra would become enraged at the last stage, when the third head grows out because the 1 and second were destroyed, its really hard to explain huh :') but yeah that sexy beast below me, i might animate it put it into clash with ifile or something, but i'd get myself in trouble over that ..
P.S the tail looks terrible dont hate me :')
Weakness should be wizard towers?
with the hero idea why not have it so any melee type troops deal 20x damage for example?
Only problem, what level Dark Barracks would it have to be trained in, how many levels it has.
I do not think that the Hydra should attack multiple targets at once. But thank you for the ideas.
I actually thought of this as well, but with slightly different stats, and different abilities.
For one thing, I get the whole growing new heads thing, which makes sense that the damage would increase, but you could also have it start off with 7 or 8 and lose DPS as it dies. Right now, as others have pointed out, the damage increase makes it jump to over 600 at the end, and if it grows a new head ever 50 HP it loses, that's 40 heads. So you might be better off changing it to a damage increase every 2-300 HP.
In the version I created, the hydra could do single target damage to multiple targets at once with different heads. It could not fly, but it would be able to attack and damage flying units some fraction of the time (50%?). It also could not climb over walls, but could reach over them to attack units immediately on the other side.
