Can you help me?

I am very new to th8, havent even built my air def., wiz tower or tesla. I have created several bases, some farming, some trophy and none of them work. TH9's can just come along and wipe me out with lv6 troops and get all my loot. I've tried bases with loot all in the center, bases with loot centralized but spread out, I've even had several big TH8's and 9's say my current base is really good, but it doesn't seem to work. Anyone have some ideas for a base?
