I was thinking of buying a one week shield because I have 38k dark elixir and i don't really feel like loosing 1800 every attack. And also I cant raid since 3 of my barracks are upgrading. My townhall will be done upgrading in 7 days and 14 hours. I have 2000 gems so should I buy a week shield?

switch to a farming base and ride the free shields all day long. Sure every once and a while you'll get raided for your de but that's the price we all pay.
If you only care about your DE, put your DE well defended, put your TH on the outside, as well as a gold storage. Pray that you'll get free shields.
And drop your throphy count.
I'm in gold 1 right now what do you guys suggest to drop down too so I can protect my dark elixir?
So you will only lose 12.6k in 7 days. Boosting all four barrack for 2h would most likely give you the same amount at the cost of 40 gems
This. But really... if I have 40K DE - and EVEN if it's very well protected and my TH is in a corner - and I still get 3 starred somehow and lose 2K DE... does it matter? I can make that back in 2 raids, tops.Quote:
