Am I on the right track?

I am about to have th9 in 8 hours and I have been planning my upgrade order for the next 7 days and am just looking for input in case I am overlooking something. I have 6mil God and elixir. And will have three builders free at completion and my 4th builder free 12 hours later.

Here is my plan for the first round of upgrades.

1) Both x-bows immediately. This seems like a no brained to me.
2) 2nd dark elixir drill to level 3 (6 days)
3) AD to lvl 1 just to eat up time as clan war starts
4) Spell Factory (5 days)
5) Lab (upon completion of spell factory)

Is there anything obvious that I have missed or does this seem reasonable?

Looks good but I would put the Lab and Spell Factory above the dark elixir drill

I would do that but I have pekka to lvl 2 for 3 days after th9 finishes

I agree with the guy above! There is no need to upgrade the drill right away. Upgrade any other defence instead of the drill!

DE profit is so nice once you hit level 5 its makn you thousands a day without doing anything :D

I would try to come up with a priority list and then build whatever you can depending on your resources available when you have a builder.

For example:
XBows
Lab
Spell Factory
Army Camps
Clan Castle
Archer Queen
New Defenses

Then upgrade based on that. I wouldn't start upgrading defenses to max level until you've gotten past the struggle for Elixir at the start of TH9 and have Level 6 Drills.

I agree, Drills are a huge upgrade now that you have 2 heroes. Assuming you max TH9 before upgrading, about half of your builder time is spent on heroes. Dark Elixir is extremely important as TH9 and having 2x Level 6 Drills will make you 4800 / day, making a huge difference in the DE you'll need to farm to feed those Heroes.

Archer Queen! I hope you have the 40k saved up. she should be the Very First thing you get, then start on that list.. which looks good btw. then I'd say Camps need to be 6 (while you grow that last storage to get them Archys going)

I suggest, get one X-bow, then buy all the new toys that build in under 8 hrs or so.. then buy the 2nd X-bow
that way, at least you have the new walls and buildings and can design your new layout while you upgrade the new stuff..

The Lab will still upgrade your pekka while itself is upgrading. If that is what you are worried about.

You won't be able to bring enough gold into TH9 to do both x-bows immediately. Not enough room in your storages.

This is what I did:

Builder:
1 - x-bow
2 - lab
3 - spell factory
4 - AQ to L2
5 - other new defenses

You don't want to tie all your builders up for several days in a row...since you will want to be buying walls and upgrading them. So do that in between building your new defences.

My second round of builds I did:

1 - second x-bow
2 - army camp
3 - army camp
4 - CC
5 - other new defenses continued

Not entirely true...the upgrade on the PEKKA will pause/stop, until the Lab finishes.
