there are some people who gem their TH even though they have low level troops,these guys are some newbies that don t get the full idea of the game,in this case these guys will be really overwhelmed,and that would really negate farming,that would destroy the game...

SC has made enough money. They need to give back. They should also give out cash prizes for winning the tournament. Since the gems would be gone, they could just give out the same amount in $USD.

I agree sc has made tons of money through this game, but if we want the updates to keep coming then I'm fine with people spending money on this game. Doesn't mean that you, or others, need to do that.

Terrible idea OP, it's not just a matter of farming.

I've often felt the same. But think about it, if it was that way, I could Max out everything at TH8 and sit there. I would crush every TH8 below me. As long as I stayed where I was at, people could only be of equal strength to me or weaker. It would ruin the incentive to even upgrade your TH. You could even Max out 6 and camp it out with the same result. It wouldn't work.

It's all about LOOT. If I was a TH 8 and see a TH7 with over 200k loot of both, I will attack. If I see a TH9 with the same loot, and I know I can get it, I will attack....simple

It ruins trophy pushing also, imagine the th2 on top of the leaderboards because no one can attack him but other th2 players, absolutely awful idea.
