Mass drags with healers?

Hey guys,

I was wondering would a composition with drag/healers and archers work?
I just became a TH8 yesterday, so I have max TH7 troops
Composition would be as follows:

8 dragons
2 healers
12 archers
2 heal spells
1 rage spell
Level 1 BK
1 Drag from Clan Castle

You would make a line of 9 dragons trying to reach a AD as soon as possible. Drop healers behind the drags as soon as they start taking real damage. Use the rage spell when u reach the first AD and the 2 heal spells when u reach the other AD's. And just use the Bk and archers to clear outside buildings.

What do you guys think about this composition to take out TH8 bases in Clan Wars? I was thinking of trying in my next Clan War.

healers do not heal flying units...

Healers only heal ground units, unfortunately. People recommend rage for dragons over heal spells too. I prefer 3 lightning.

every single TH8 out there can easily be taken out by 11 dragons and 3 rage.

sorry but healers do not heal dragons because they are flying units and i don t think you would like your healers to heal the 12 archers you have in your team

I'd rather find out attacking before posting it on forum, lol.

Or you can also READ the healer description..

always lol at poor healer standing on the field....

nothing to do here... (drags taking mass dmg over there)

happened a few times.. but not always because of lack of knowledge about healer not healing flying...

a mass of wiz got taken out by a GB along with few archers and barb... but the healer just got drop at the same time...

only troops left were drags as i could seen... and there goes the cc with like 2 gobs and balloons...

healer going a long way just to get shot by AD and air mine... while gobs just... well.. gobs running and getting fired

I had someone do this to me the other day in a revenge raid. Dropped 4 healers then the rest drags. Drags all flew off and died, healers hovered in one spot...

I upgraded to level 5 lightening to take out dragons easier.

Healers will only heal ground units so that means the healers would only be healing those 12 archers so it wouldnt be worth it.

Ahhh this reminds me of my first noob attack. Luckily it was only one dragon.

A lvl90 just got lvl4 drags and thought it was a very good tactic. Tried it on a strong th10 and failed terribly.
We are still bagging him out for it ;)
