Barch upgrade order

I'm a brand new TH9, and just began my lab upgrade. I exclusively farm with barch, so my first upgrades will obviously be barbs and archers, but I keep going back and forth over which one to do first. I kind of want to just get the archer upgrade out the way because it's so expensive, but would it be better to upgrade the barbs first so my farming army will improve quicker since the barbarian finishes 4 days quicker? Plus The 3 million I would otherwise put towards the archer upgrade could be spent on an army camp.

What do you guys think?

Im in the same position as you and im saving for archers first.

I dont think that theres a right answer tbh, its all a trade off - do you want to increase your meatsheild to allow more time for archers to shoot stuff, or do you want to increase the damage done before the barbs are toast?

Well, the barbs for longevity and the archers for killing stuff...

It's a matter of temper and barch composition, really... I'd upgrade whichever of the troops you bring the most of during a barch attack :)

I upgraded barbs first because I didn't have the 4th elixir storage at that time, otherwise I'd have upgraded the archers first.

If you got the elixir, I'd go for archers, clan donations like lv6 archers :)

I done archers first, for the simple reason that barbs are just meat sheilds.

Archers are the force behind barch.

If barbs done 0 damage, barch would still be effective.

EDIT: (At TH8, but same idea)

barbs first, they are proportionally a better upgrade. Archers are a small increase
and they are cheaper
also as above, the difference in eilixir, will upgrade an army camp

Why? Both army camps and de drill are much more valuable way to spend elixirs for early th9. Besides, you won't be able to do archers until elixir storages are maxed, and it's a not the best place to deploy your workers up front.

Yea, I'm going to go Barbs first. In a month both upgrades will be done anyway, so i figure I'll spend my first 7 million elixir on level 6 barbs and an army camp.

Did you just say the DE drill is more usefull than level 6 archers or barbs?

You are probably right, lets be honest though.. level 6 archers look mean as hell lol.

I had that choice and decided on level 6 barbs first. I figured that with them, it would be easier for me to acquire the elixer for level 6 arch.
