It gets worse when unlocking new troops... I have wizards & it takes an hour to fully train 12 wizards

Level six archers are 7.5m, 14 days. You need perspective.;)

First of all your title makes no sense. Also what's "Y"? I think you mean 'Why'

Game doesn't take that long at all. I've played other games where the grind is way worse. This game you have a fourteen day upgrade, start it and go do something else. Other games you got to get a level up you stare at your character doing the same motion for six hours a day.

Wow you think 1 million is expensive? my next upgrade upgrade is 5 mil (CC)

To the OP, you can't rely on just your collectors after TH5, so either start raiding (barch is best) or find another game to play. The game takes a lot of time to get to the end (maxed TH10) because the developers don't want you downloading it and uninstalling it in the same day because it got boring to beat it over and over (pun somewhat intended).
