Please SuperCell, this is the basis of the entire game. If troop AI is not on point, then the rest of the game is a sham.

I have Dragons not taking the shortest distance to targets. I have no idea what they are doing.

I have been a member of these forums for quite some time, but rarely post. It takes a lot to get me to post:

SuperCell, how could this be play-tested AI? Do you know how absolutely infuriating it is to play a game that is broken this badly? If this is the way the troops are supposed to act, (​as i see some members saying) then it needs to be changed immediately. I don't understand why, once games get big the devs start to ignore the obvious problems that plague the game, the obvious problems that absolutely need to be fixed in order to make the game playable. Instead of actually fixing the core elements of the game, they splash some nice colors on it and serve it back up. No, this is unacceptable.
AAA titles suffer the exact same fate. Call of Duty can't make a map anymore, but they can sure offer 20 killstreaks and dozens of gun camo. Gears of War has implemented so much needless stuff, the last game was unplayable.
Clash of Clans offers us useless Valk buffs, (and yes, they are useless) when the troop AI is atrocious.

I'm honestly sitting here baffled. I don't know what to say. I just don't understand how this can not be fixed.

SuperCell, for the love of all that is holy, fix the obvious problems before serving us up something new that will need to be fixed anyways. How many more updates will you spend tweaking Hogs? Focus your time elsewhere, for the community.

Asking for all those is like asking santa for a pony. Sc would probably partially fix it but not fix the whole thing entirely.

I agree. Stupid dragons made me lose the battle at 47% at Crystal II.

I've never thought AI was a problem. Sure there are a few hiccups, but overall, not nearly a concern.

So.. In your first picture, there are still Clan Castle Troops.. That is what the dragons are shooting at...
Second picture, the army camp is closer to your AQ, and therefore she targets that, even with the wall between, because she can reach.

In your video at 1:51, the troops go round the wall to the outside, because they would have to break a wall to get to the next logical target that does not require breaking a wall. (I don't know how many travelling-fields a wall counts as, but in this case, it seemed the shorter route to a target was to go round the outside. )

This is the AI that we have and it works. Yes it can be annoying that the AI of all non-defense-target-troops aren't set to Town Hall, but hey.. They'd get nuked by every defense whilst battering down walls to get to the town hall...
So let us just be happy the troops work the way they do and better our attack strategies :)

I really don't see your problems OP. AI is tough to handle sometimes, but it works the way it is now.

If you don't want your troops to aggro on CC troops during your attack, lure the CC first.
But sometimes it comes in handy to let them aggro on CC in order to draw your troops into the core.
It all depends on what you want.

All I want is a new reason to keep on playing. Have done everything from maxing TH10 to reaching champs. Something like quests or a single player campaign would be much appreciated.

All I want in the update is a small reduction in regeneration time for our heroes.

Even dropping the +4 minutes to +3 and carry it all the way to lv 40 would be satisfactory. More would be nice of course but probably less likely.

The drags didn't go for the TH after the CC troops

It would be smarter for the AQ to, instead of turning around and walking backward, walk to the open TH

Did you watch my AQ walk past 4 buildings? How about the Wiz destroying a wall for no reason and then walking away from the wall?

That would be nice, but I have to wait about 2 hours for spells anyways, so AQ and BK down for 2 hours doesn't really affect me.
