Happy Hour?

Wouldn't it be great if there was a 'happy hour' once or twice a year? During this hour you can buy everything at a price -20% (This would not include hiring new builders/training troops/making spells/upgrading troops/boosts/revive heroes/early end an upgrade) so you can buy gem packages at -20% price, upgrade buildings -20% price, buying gold/elixir/dark elixir -20% price, upgrading walls -20% price, ...

Or SC could give us 1 gem boosts that won't make them lose as much money!... Oh wait, they already do that

Well they won't loose money because more people will buy gems during that hour so if you look at total earnings SC would earn more money than usual.

If I were a player who bought gems and I knew a discount was coming up soon, I would hold out on buying gems for what, a week? Two weeks? Now imagine every player who is a regular gem purchaser doing this for a week or two. That is a lot of money not being made. They may get a few players here and there that wouldn't have bought gems if there wasn't a discount, but the amount of players that do regularly and would wait is greater. SC would probably end up losing some money.

But SC wouldn't anounce this sale, all of a sudden they say it's happy hour. People will not know when it comes. Sometimes twice in a year, sometimes once in 2 years... I'm just saying that they should make a sale like that. If there would be a problem with earning money for SC, they'll just keep the idea but remove a sale on the gems. So we can still upgrade our buildings and walls for a cheaper gold/elixir price once in a while. That would also improve the amount of gems being bought I guess.

^^^ better. Although a lot of players would miss the random announcement it would save them money. Excluding a sale in gems but only gold/elixir/DE might even generate more money for them. Now the idea is getting somewhere, keep at it.

I should say if they keep the gem sale, they should make it random. But if they trow the gem sale out of the happy hour, they could anounce it and maybe don't do it once or twice a year but once a month? I guess people would like to buy some gems when it's nearly 'happy hour time'.

Maybe I can better change it into a 'happy day' because lots of people will miss it if it's just 1 hour... :/
