I'm currently a TH5 about half way to maxing with 3 builders huts and 295 gems and 1065 trophies.
You get 450 gems for hitting 1250 trophies. So would give me 745 gems.
You get 250 for joining crystal. Would give me almost 1000 gems and I could get 5 more easily and get another hut.
Can I TH snipe to Crystal?
You definitely can :)
P.S:
Be sure to have a full army, keep barbs and archers cooking even if you're full, have cc troops as back up because some players like to stick teslas and bombs next to the th's :rolleyes:

Yes you can. That is what I did to get my 4th builder as well. :cool:
Go for it man! Just make sure your TH is OUTSIDE so you get sniped and get that shield while your off, also I would recommend being on for an hour or more several times a day farming for those trophies.

Going slow so far. I think I would be best for the first bit to just actually raid the bases and get more trophies till I get to like 1300. Any tips?
Try barching (barbs and archers) on bases that you know you can 1 star at least, that way you won't lose anything.
Also, if you think you can get a second star by destroying 50% of the buildings, and you happened to snipe is th, go for it since you already have a star :)
Okay. I've been using barch lately and it's alright. I have 125 space, what composition should I use?
I have level 3 barb/arch, 2 giant, 2 wiz, 2 gob.
That way you can keep attacking if you do end up using all of your army.
Sure you can. But it will take long time and effort to get to crystal.
