People who are in war, should be locked in clan, until war is completely over!

It never fails, we always have 1 member every war leave in the middle of war. WHY CANT THEY BE LOCKED INTO CLAN UNTIL WAR IS OVER?....THE ARGUEMENT MAY BE THEY MAY STILL NOT PARTICIPATE IN IT.. WELL THEN THEY SHOULD BE PENALIZED FOR IT..AFTER ALL THEY STUCK AROUND LONG ENOUGH TO ENTER INTO WAR, BUT THEY LEAVE IN MIDDLE OF WAR IS NOT FAIR TO THE REST OF THE CLAN. PENALIZE THEM MAKE THEM HAVE A longer cool down before participating in another war...something needs to be done..the majority of the clan love to war, 1 person should not ruin their chances of winning the war. Perhaps a handicap should be implemented if a player leaves. Something has to balance to make it fair for both...maybe give an option if one leaves the guy at bottom of clan roster fills in the spot...I'm not exactly sure, but something needs to be done. Anyone have any ideas or concerns don't be afraid to comment! Ty

Or Supercell can implement a feature that let's the highest non participating member to take the quitter's place?

No!

We have members that hop back and forth between our war clan and farm clan during war, and this would prevent them from doing so.

Here's a solution: be more careful about who you go to war with.

Because then people in 24/7 war clans would be stuck in their clans.

The problem is within your own clan and how you organize it.

You suggested that players should be penalized players for not participating. Would that penalty apply to every player across the game who doesn't use both his attacks or just the ones that the game somehow guesses are thinking of leaving your clan?

Your complaint is that your wars are always ruined by one person, but what makes you think if you hold that one person hostage in your clan, they're suddenly going to win the war for you? I'd think there's an even greater chance they're going to mess it up far worse by staying against their will than they ever could by leaving. They could not attack. They could purposely fail. They could purposely hit a target and not gain any stars. They could steal someone else's target. They could take pictures of your villages and give them to the opposing clan. They could spend every minute of their time in your clan pointing out any mistakes your members make, criticizing their attacks, and filling their clan castles with garbage. They could call your leadership into question and insult any new players. They could go on global and invite the worst of the worst. And if they happen to be an elder or higher, they can just give random people the boot.

If players quit on you with no notice and with no respect every single war without fail, it sounds like your clan must have a lot of problems. Rather than try to invent new ways for people to remain in your clan longer than they want, why don't you focus on figuring out why so many people want to leave your clan?

There are quite a few reasons why people should not be locked into a clan until after a war. Family Clan? Cursing, abusing basic conduct, lots.

I see where you are coming from OP, but the solution would need to consider far more factors than just warring issues.

I hear your pain but it wouldn't make that player use there attacks - so you'd still be hurting
