Unemptied collectors and pumps essentially. Unloaded X-bows and Infernos when you're more progressed

From crystal 2 then 3...then went down to gold 1/2 still very poor loot. Guess i have to wait for 1-2 weeks to wait for better loot..
The issue is that for TH9s and 10s, it's just not worth hitting storages for consistent loot. It's much easier to look for collector raids as it takes a lot longer to train an army that can take out all the storages.
Even if a base has 300K gold in their storages, one storage will only contain 75K (300K ÷ 4) and typically, you can only take out 2 of those storages if they are separated far enough, leaving you net gain of 150K gold.
In contrast, if you train a barch army, you can easily get all the collector (200k+) for a 10-15 minute army build.
It's no wonder why people rely so heavily on collector raids. Supercell needs to increase the amount that can be raided from storages if they want people to do full-out attacks and not rely on collectors/inactive bases.
I agree and disagree.
i disagree that its not worth it for townhall 9 to hit storages. As a Th9 myself, I can pillage and plunder basically any townhall 8 with Balloonions and lots of townhall 9 as well. There are several write ups in the forums using this strategy. Heck, you can even take on premie TH 10! It's not to 3 star, it's for loot, understand what I am saying. You just so happen to wreck them on your way to storages because Balloonions in rage are devastating. Most bases are designed to fight off ground attacks, not air, the air bombs and mines are terrible for defense, (no offense supercell) though I have to admit the air bombs can wipe out a group of minions but if if you drop a min here and there to test, you can be but so suprised. It's like riding a bike. Air defenses are obviously beast, but i only respect them at Level 7 plus. Anything below that, you are food to Balloonions. Some people are much better than me and will wreck those L7 AD, if the loot is right. Point I'm making is that air attacks still wreck big time when it comes to farming, so hope is not at all lost.
I agree that barch is the way to go. 15-20 mins is a little more accurate, i think the 10-15 u said was like..hit and run? Or boosting? Anyway i agree with you. Cheap, fast and you can go hammer time on abandoned bases, racking up loot quick especially if trying to be cheap and save resources.
For me? Its personal preference. Barch is much faster, if i get bored of it i switch to balloons because while slower, the main advantage is getting those De storages that barch armies cant always get to ( u know what I mean)
Nothing more satisfying that seeing a base with high level walls and x junctions and T junctions and A junctions and xyz junctions (lol) and big bomb spots and funnels and spring traps and Barb King ready, only to float over everything like the freaking Borg from Star Treck, eradicating everything in my path:cool:
#Resistance Is Futlie
I've clashed all may way to th 9 with the same troop composition: 12 giants, 2 healer, 6 WB and 120 barbarians( all at their max levels)( 220 troop camps).
I can basicaly raid collectors or storages villages even thought they're strong. I take healing spells too.
This composition is very effective and only takes 20 minutes to train! If you like archers you should take some barbarians and put archers too.
I only press next about 5 times. Try changing leagues
