Idea for DISCOURAGING clan hoppers, while keeping the integrity of the game intact

I believe that any sort of ability to choose who you attack is ruled out. The only way you can sort of choose is by revenge, and even then the person who attacked you first found you RANDOMLY through the matchmaking system.
Also, I think this could lead to bullying, not that attacking in itself is bullying. But, if you are in a bad clan and people are making fun of you, being mean, or otherwise being horrible, and you want to leave, but your storages are (almost) full, then you could be scared into not leaving. I mean, you would get raided anyway once your shield runs out, but the people in your clan could study your base like in a clan war and train the right troops to 3 star your base and take all your loot.

I understand that this is a minor annoyance for everyone but you don't need to jump around thread downing ideas!! Everything tends to be a lot but if you focus on why it won't work versus saying this is not worth fixing or whatever else! Let supercell decide if it's worth it and simply say you don't like this option! Every person who plays this game is different, some like playing the way it is others would like to see options to make the game more fun for them! A simple I don't like this idea can take you further than making people feel low just because they think they have a good idea!

Like I said in the post above me, I think it would be a good idea to charge people for leaving if they took troops in the last 12 hrs before they left, and if they don't have the elixir to cover the cost of the troops they were given in the past 12 hrs, then the clan member that last donated to them could get a revenge option or simply click their name before it's gone and hit revenge! However if that person is kicked out then no one gets these options, but that person loses their troops instead! And it could be a clan option, to use this option and it would show up in clan description!

See in my clan I let new recruits know I don't give troops until normally a couple hrs after they join to discourage hoppers! However some of the time they will talk with everyone then a few hours later I give them troops and then they post nice talk in to you, then soandso has left the clan! Of course this is rare but I have had a couple however the revenge and all other options are only in cases where they ask for troops and leave! They can still join a clan take a look for a few if they don't like it then leave! No action could be taken against them because they left the clan without taking troops!

And honestly I have closed my clan to all but family so I don't have this problem I have cousins that pop in and out and that's it!

Actually, yes. We do. It is a forum. More importantly, it is a forum that SC uses to gauge the popularity of various ideas from the gaming community. If an idea has unintended consequences, failed to include a needed safety feature to prevent exploitation or it is simply a bad idea the feedback against it is even more important than feedback supporting the thought out, well executed and good ideas. Often in life your loudest critics are your most valuable source of information.

Critics state why something wouldn't work by being objective and yes this means using opinion for constructive criticism(ex. Bullying,misuse,EXploitation!) Supercell does look at the feed back however they would also look at the facts more than personal opinion, fact you see threads almost everyday specifically about hoppers, fact some people don't mind hoppers others do! Opinion I don't like people asking for troops and leaving! Opinion you seem to prefer booting people who may be a hopper!

Super cell see many opinion and they would most likely look at facts that opinions create! The number of people who like/dislike hoppers! Depending on the numbers, they can create an option to make both sides happy! Or they can simply choose to ignore it if there's not enough people to take notice of the idea or topic!
In other words if you have nothing that states why it wouldn't work, Then stating I don't like this idea, I don't mind hoppers, or simply I vote no! Is getting just as much across as the mouthful you posted above! If it states nothing that helps the person make it better!

First off, bullying and exploitation are not matters of opinion. They are simple facts.

Second, if you want an often repeated example of why trying to force hoppers to stay or punish them in a way that will make them not want to leave, can you imagine how disruptive and destructive a person in your clan will be when they don't want to be there? They will fill your castles with wall breakers and goblins, turn your clan chat into an even lower form of global chat and generally be as disruptive as possible so you will kick them out, thus avoiding the punishment/prevention of hopping. The bottom line is that no good will ever come out of forcing somebody to be where they don't want to be either by rule or fear of punishment.

Besides, why would you want somebody in your clan who doesn't want to be there anyway?

Whats wrong with hoppers?

They give you XP, and if you don't want them. Are easy to control.

You can implement certain policies into your clan, that will seem absurd to a hopper, but loyal proving to a honest, hard working member, such polices could include...

Policies to enforce

• Members cannot request until they are 2/3 Days Old (ClanWise].
• New Members cannot request for troops above a certain level/barracks.
• New Members cannot request for troops until they have donated so much already.

I think this thread has run its course, and doesn't require further argument.
However, that would be unfair blocking you from commenting on my feedback, so feel free to reply to my post, but other than that, this doesn't need further bumping.

I am a part time hopper and i would HATE that if this became reality!

First they are matters of opinion, but they are constructive opinions meaning there are possible fixes! And they are opinions because this game does not have these functions there for they are educated opinions or theories that are based on experience! There is no way to prove what will happen unless the option becomes available! However we can take possibilities and possibly create something that might work, however even then it is a opinion until tested then it becomes fact!

And some people are disruptive already and join clans and start talking smack to people saying kick me! Don't ask me why they do this but they do! And I don't want someone in my clan if they don't want to be in there but I also don't want someone who never planned to stay in my clan to pop in long enough to get troops and leave!

As I said before I don't care if they do anything about clan hoppers because I closed my clan to any one but family and friends! However I can see this.person's point on clan hoppers! Which is.Why I posted! And I wouldn't mind seeing some clan option to allow either loners to buy there own cc troops or a way to make them think a little harder about the.Clan they wish to be in!
