Ideas for DISCOURAGING clan hoppers: single revenge attack or resource penalty
DISCLAIMER: This is NOT a suggestion to allow people to just attack whoever/whenever, as there is another thread currently suggesting that. Please be mindful of the difference.

NEW: This thread has evolved to spawn two ideas, and this post edited to reflect those ideas.
IDEA #1 - "Revenge Attack on Hoppers"
IDEA #2 - "Donated Troops Remain In Clan"
-----
IDEA #1
Intention: to provide a clan with a link to the player who left so that a single clan member may follow them to their village for a revenge attack.
Restrictions/settings for the idea:
1) Leader and/ or co-leaders are the only ones who can assign the clan member who will attack the hopper.
2) The hopper may only be attacked ONCE.
3) The hopper may not be targeted by more than ONE player from the clan.
4) Attacker must be within range of hopper. (e.g. if hopper is Town Hall lvl 5, attacker cannot be higher than Town Hall lvl 5)
5) No other clan members will be able to attack the hopper.
6) If hopper defends against the clan member's attack then they keep the donated troops, regardless of whether or not the troops are killed in the attack. If the hopper does not defend, they will be award one revenge attack against the clan member. If they obtain at least one star in the attack then they keep the donated troops, regardless of whether the donated troops are killed in the attack.
These restrictions provide the clan the ability to get "justice" for someone hopping their clan, while at the same time protecting the hopper from abuse from the clan.
It is a way to protect integrity of the game, while adding an additional/potentially fun element to it.

IDEA #2
Intention: to provide clans another level of protection against hoppers (i.e. "troop snatchers")
Restrictions/settings for the idea:
1) "Anyone Can Join" clans remain inclusive for donations. Meaning, anyone can join these clans and keep any troops that are donated to them when they leave the clan. This protects clans that are set up to donate troops for XP and protects "hoppers" who only want to join clans for the extra troops
2) "Invite Only" clans remain exclusive for donations. Meaning, if players join these clans they may not keep any troops that are donated to them when they leave the clan. This protects clans that donate troops for the purposes of those troops being used to build up the clan. Individual player raids count toward building up the clan because as a player raids and gains resources they upgrade their village, which in turns makes them stronger in clan wars.
3) Donated troops return to the donator into a queue. Meaning, if a person with donated troops leaves the clan the donated troops return to the person who donated them. If their army camps are full, or if they are currently training troops for their army camps, then the troops that were donated go into a queue. When the army camp becomes empty those troops are automatically deposited into the person's army camp.
