While searching for bases to raid I've seen lots of gem chests, trees, bushes, etc sitting waiting to be plucked. How about some kind of gem-stealing troop like a leprechaun/troll/Yeti that would have the sole purpose of harvesting gem chests and other potential hidden gems? Make them 20-30 space troops so a player has to weigh the costs of carrying them. After they've finished harvesting a gem chest they become a very powerful fighter.

I think it should leave Gem Boxes, obstacles spawn every 8 hours, all it takes is someone to be inactive over a long sleep period, and they can lose their gem box pretty much straight away.
And I agree with the high population space, it will also need a high cost, and a slower collection time than normal. Otherwise this is just overpowered. Imagine having it done to you.
This would get people to drop trophies and beat the green snot out of beginners/inactives for easy gems

Stealing gems!! I would love to steal some but I think this would be too op. I would hate to wake up finding that someone stole my precious gem box
Sigh...why don't people actually search as well as think before they post. Leave my base and gems alone.
