I'm a newly Town hall level 8 and I just upgraded my 3 mortars to level 6. I'm currently working on my wizard towers which are now level 5... BUT I can't find loot at all... my barbarians are level 5 and my archers are 2 days away from level 5. I don't have a problem finding elixir which I don't need. Anyone knows the trophy range to finding great gold and DE for THlv8? I'm at Silver I, Tried Gold 3, 2 & 1 and is not even good.
Stay strong, brutha! Gold 1-3 is where I farm as a TH8 and it's not terrible all the time. I can't speak for silver or crystal at this time. Keep hitting that next button.

Definitely Gold 1 and 2. I can find raids fairly easily, even at Th9. Back when I was TH8, I remember farming those walls down there (ahhh good times...)
I've had good luck in Crystal 3 the past week or so using Barch, try moving up a bit!
I can't even imagine pressing next 86 times. Are you just afraid to attack? Or what? If you are farming for resources... go for them, taking them from TC 9s is always fun.Quote:

I dropped down to bronze because I too have been struggling to find decent loot. I literally just found a 1 million resource collector raid... I could even add a screenshot if nobody believes me. I will look more into this but maybe the lower leagues have some secrets..
I've had good luck at crystal 3 & 2 at town hall lv 8. The Dark elixir is pouring everywhere and with a nice 100/100 barch army, 3x Lighting spell Lv5 & Barb king you can easily manage a decent 50% victory with profits that fluctuate around 300K gold & elixir and 3K dark elixir. Its amazing farming at this trophy range, thanks everyone.
