Yes, it is unreasonable. How would SC determine the "skill" level of an individual player? You are not facing "top" clans, you are facing clans with members that have upgrades (offensive and defensive) that hopefully come close to matching your own. If you want to participate in clan wars, expect your opponents to do everything they can to win. If it bothers you that you cannot get everyone in your clan excited about each clan war, then find a new clan!Quote:

If your clan is carrying a lot of deadweight (sounds like yours is) it will hamstring the efforts of the team. We regularly beat good clans but we have 95%+ attacks used in all of our wars. Its the only way you can compete and hope to win.
Tough decisions to make for your clan. Wish you the best with them.
My clan has around 35 members, and we war nonstop (zero downtime between wars). We average around 95% participation in wars, and nobody uses "lesser" troops if the win is in doubt. Funding two expensive attacks every 48 hours shouldn't be that difficult (maybe for guys that feel they have no option but to use pure dragons, but even then). We generally stock our war castles with high level wizards and archers, so cost is not a major issue there. We all think clan wars is fun (much more fun than just mindlessly farming), so we don't view it as a burden. All that said, we did form a second clan where people can go to take a break for whatever reason, though most of us just stay in the war clan all the time.Quote:

i do spend 720k elixir for my two atk in clan war, thats not a problem , i'm still full with elixir all d time. we do back to back wars though ;) Coc is boring without clan wars :cool: specially i love that free DE i get
This isn't exactly a perfect system either. Clan A could be losing 10 times in a row, but they are all very close wars going all out in their attacks against really good players. Clan B could be losing 10 times in a row because they don't have players that are as active or as good as other members. If those two get put up against each other, who wins?Quote:

I consider a "war clan" to be a clan where there are penalties if you don't follow the rules. And not just rules around making sure you use both your attacks each war, but rules around donations, base setups, and attack methodologies (i.e. no goblins as someone mentioned earlier).
We, however, are not a "war clan", we are "a clan that wars". We war twice a week, and there's no rule about attacking requirements or base setups, however we have rules about being active.
With that said, it sounds like the OP's clan is "a clan that wars". Unfortunately, there's not really a distinguishable way for the matchup system to identify this... it's more of an "approach" to war and can't be measured by looking at all the levels of everything in your base.
As for us, we have a lot of folks who do whatever it takes to win. And using a tonne of elixer to get the job done is how it's going to be. (We're a mostly South Africa/UK/Aus clan with a few from the US/Canada, just to add that in)
It does suck to lose, and we've lost our share... in fact we ran into a clan in our most recent war that actually used ALL 80 of their attacks in a 40v40 war. It's the first time I've seen that personally. And yes, we got smoked - in fact they doubled our star total, however we gave up with 6 hours to go being behind 50 stars with only a possible 30-35 left to get. But we'll keep plugging along, and the current war we've just started actually looks promising!

our last war we had 100% participation, 90/90 attacks used, this is a must if you want to win wars, using half your attacks wont win you wars against any nationality
We actually had this problem, so the first thing we did was everyone focused solely on upgrading Air Defense. Have not had this problem since. I certainly don't get dragooned anymore.
If someone uses dragons lvl 4 or not on my base, they will be extremely lucky to get a star out of me.
